You’re an academic professor who lives his whole life in the theory side of the world, you don’t actually know how things work in the private sector.
I speak english with clients and financial advisors all day long, some even have german dutch or russian accents, and everybody understand me without problem.
Nobody cares about your theory, we’re not 15 anymore, adults actually don’t care about all of that.

However knowing you, you’ll reject most of what people say, and then try attack them on what little you do understand
