RN Roma: City at Sea

Tbh I’d always thought that Romania should’ve been given the main subtree, Spain the lesser subtree and then Hungary would be part of a V4 tree.

It’s worse that gajin seems dead set on doing nothing interesting with either subtree aswell baring the 2 domestic Romanian planes and the ww2 Hungarian tanks. They then go ahead and leave Spain completely dry, splitting it between Germany and Italy (Similar to how Canada was treated).

Not how I would have handled it either. Still, there’s plenty of room for improvement without using any copy paste. STILL waiting for the Nimrod. and Romania has lots of really cool BMP and T-55 variants that would be totally unique. Not to mention a few IAR planes from ww2 and beyond.

Israel has destroyers and some gunships too
Sure not many but it can be cool

Also as i said the moment gaijin will start to implement missiles israel has alot to offer
And since we are getting into ww2 battleships we can defenitly can start seeing some missiles carriers in the near future

Sure, but I think that all fits in a coastal tree.

Destroyers?
If it is the just add coastal which isnt that small

That’s a good question as the “composite” armor of the Littorios ( steel - foamed concrete - steel ) was studied to save weight while keeping the same level of protection as those heavier, steel only, main belts of other navies.

Even if not coded as it should be IRL foamed concrete should have a better armor modifier than air, making the main belt even more effective.

The Allies wanted to move the two battleships to the Pacific, but when they realized they were not suitable for ocean navigation, they left them there.

I assume this is the week of Naval devblogs, we’ve got US, Germany, and Japan left, I wonder what it could be

teaser should come tomorrow

Man i want to be so happy about this upcoming ship (that was and still is a pride for my Country) but i’m sad because some weeks ago the last survivor of the Roma perished. He was Gustavo Bellazzini, died at 103 years and he was 22 when the Roma was destroyed.

Of the 1920 sailors aboard the Roma, only 527 survived. Amongst the victims there was also Carlo Bergamini, the Fleet Admiral of the Italian Royal Navy and a legend even today,to the point of having both an entire ship class and the admiral of said class named after him.

This ship will now live eternally in this game, with all the 1920 souls that filled it.

Forever honor to him and all the sailors. May they all rest in peace.

Will there be an option to install catapultable Re.2000 instead of Ro.43 or it’s reserved for other battleships of the class?

I dont know, the SPAA on some of these new Battleships are better than what we’ve got at 11.7/12.0 for most nations in ground.

At least it would be funny to see if an Su-30 could actually do all that much against something like Yamato, Iowa or Vanguard

Haha saturation fire goes brrrr

That’s why they’re doing it. They want to revive the naval. RN Roma and the ships that will come in this update are the strongest possible bait to revive the game, bring back lost players and earn money on pre-orders. But who cares? I certainly don’t

Now I love naval, but can we please start showing some of the many World war two era props that you’re DEFINITELY adding this update right?

I mean the Roma carries a seaplane, so does that count?

This is my fear. That we’ll get an artificially nerfed Roma because lazy.
