I just want to know what this even means, “The sheer volume of the topic…”? Like the amount of bug reports? Sources? Comments? Data? It’s giving one series of tanks their proper armor. What is so voluminous about it? It’s been an issue for well over a year.
Probably the large bug report and the amount of people asking for it.
They likely want to go over all the sources, make a decision and explain in detail which decision they made, why they made it and which vehicles will be affected.
Gaijin thinking the reload rate is actually gonna change anything in terms of performance. Maybe I am just a doomer but to me it seems like they are trying to compensate for some bad news.
So what about the poor state of the m1a2 sepv2 not having DU at all in the hull, the cermic plates giving the joke of 5mm of protection from KE, and the fact their is no spall liner whatsoever.
I don’t think the reload will make a huge difference when you usually already lose your loader and commander as soon as you expose your turret to someone.

Let me think, a second less in 1st stage reload with 2.5 more seconds with second stage reload, or, forcing your enemy to actually aim. I mean, the choice is pretty obvious to me.

not even that. 10.7s shouldn’t see AIM-9Ms on a supersonic platform fullstop. in an ideal world a decent amount of 11.0s wouldn’t see 9Ms but that’s not the case.
Also also if it didn’t go up in BR that would probably revive the “British Phantoms AIM-9L when?” debate.
