dont think spaceclimbers should be a balancing factor

It’s just that an 11.7 plane launches X38 at 11km and it destroys half the respawn with a splash. And you’re on “one of the most effective SAMs” just looking at it.

No one said space climbing, if you haven’t learned energy management by now I’d recommend videos by Defyn or others that teach energy management.

Using Q-5’s superior potential energy you out-escape enemies long enough for them to get engaged by a team mate, and Q-5’s strength comes from baiting enemies into targeting you while the superior fighters deal with them due to Q-5’s superior climb rate.

The climb is the strongest tool for weakness of all aircraft that lack high TWR.

Then the Q-5 goes back to getting thunderer as they do every single match.

In Gaijin’s theory
Every 4-engine prop bomber needs to be higher than 7.0 as long as they are extremely survivable in their strike runs
if they spaceclimb with sideclimbing and camp in high ground, unless the enemy brings jets. :P

At 7.7 it was a beast. At 8.0 its fine. it turns like a paper aircraft. Meaning they made it as light as they could theoretically make it.

oh, you meant their energy generation? yeah makes sense, but consider that this playstyle is very team dependant and requires your enemies to actually bother engaging your Q5 (since the plane itself is not good offense-wise, you cant really dictate the fight)

also shhh dont talk about the wager strat…

Nah, it isn’t joking.
It is just a silly unarmed plane which got destroyed by a turbocharger explosion.
which was staying shamelessly undertiered and abusing airspawn for centuries.

Losing air spawn is better than getting ridded like R2Y2. right?

Gaijin doesn’t understand that balancing by player stats is a terrible way of balancing their games, case #98541551447.

The argumentation for the Type 81 is pure bollocks, in no world should it be only 0.3 below the fucking Pantsir. Also funny how the Strela isn’t getting up in BR 🙄

The BR increase for the AMX M4 is fine-ish, but the increase to the AMX-13 and EBR are absurd.

If you insist on increasing the AMX-40’s BR, at least buff it a bit. As it currently is, it does NOT deserve to be 0.3 below the Turms or T-80UD.
Also, you’re now creating a 10.0 lineup for France, but you’re still not fixing the French Roland’s elevation despite multiple bug reports.

The Super Etendard is getting a BR increase to where it doesn’t have a lineup… Again.

I use it even in 12.7 matches, works good

this is the perfect sample of what i’ve been saying about the type 81C, this thing is launching anti-ship cruise missiles what in the world are those guiding paths? are they going stealth mode?

A 10.0/11.3 tornado with mk103 engines for Britain would be pre-ordered instantly.

The AMX-40 is slightly more mobile than the Leopard 2A4, fires a similar round, has a similar thermal solution… the difference is the AMX-40 has “no turret armor”.
Yet they are 1 BR apart.

The fact AMX-40 has dodged getting uptiered for so long is outright impressive, it shouldn’t be the same BR as the no-thermal Leopard 2K.
The Leopard 2K dodged uptiers as well until it was finally moved to 10.0.

Your post is 100% correct on Type 81 though, absolutely wild that’s above 11.3, maybe even wild that it’s above 11.0.

Agreed.

should be noted that amx-40 is currently its composite armor

The issue is that gaijin is artificially nerfing them by moving them up in BR (no missiles at 10.0 lmao), while also halving their practical flare count, and not allowing the Q-5L to get it’s historically accurate PL-5s, and it’s increased countermeasure count.

It’s equal to the Mig-19s, with the only changes being bomb/napalm compatibility, the ability to carry flares, and in the case of the L, a better RWR.

They should be 9.7 in their current state, and I want someone from Gaijin to prove that they are equal to 10.0s, and only 0.3 worse than 10.3s without using their efficiency statistics.

Another nothing burger BR update, they moved stuff around that doesn’t matter or didn’t need it. Type 90s ‘ignored’, 7.7 France autoloader garbage ignored, 10.0 to 12.0 is full of slop and is bloated. This game needs decompression for ground and naval.

Gaijin’s awful logic

But it is. Because even knowing what they are couldn’t lead to anyone baking or altering them. The nature of the game wouldn’t let it. But they are asking (forcing really) players to believe they have numbers that justify this change. So back it up. Show us the data that says this SPAA needs to be a hair from the Pantsir. Show us the data that is preventing the Abrams from getting the M829A3 round. It means nothing to use it and then not disclouse it.

Vehicles that aren’t played much could get it’s BR altered by a group of people that specifically aim to do so just for fun, which is why giving out their full stats can be dangerous.
