Have you tried watching hit replays? Seems obvious to me that none of the things you described are in those situations.
Open the hit replays and watch them, you can also send the video here.
The first case - shot a shaped charge too low, it went below the autoloader, and in general shaped charges do not go too deep into the tank.
The second - you hit the stern of the tank, it can be seen on the hit camera. You either have a big ping, or you took a video from replays, where there is camera unsynchronization and you actually hit there
Also, are you talking about the post match hit replay or the server side? I don’t trust them. For example, both my friend and I hit a M18 center mass with a Tiger H1 shot. On the server end, the shell went through without detonating or hitting anything. The hit replay said it should have nuked the entire crew.
Did you miss the driver being knocked out and he KEPT DRIVING in the first video? Or how I shot the second one in the engine and somehow killed the driver?
For the first case, I don’t have an explanation right now. For the second, the driver killed the stabilizer from your apfsds.
However, I didn’t see the cases that you described “my projectile goes through the autoloader without damage”.
I hear that a lot, but there is no such video. It seems like players are making this stuff up to justify themselves
I’ll repeat that I often hear about it like it happens all the time, but it really doesn’t.
I can just as well claim that I shoot at any other tank and nothing in it takes damage.
I play a lot and know how things work. In 99% of cases, players just don’t realize what happened because they aren’t well versed in the mechanics of the game and don’t consider their actions after playing.
You mean the sabot? The petal ain’t going through a side of a T80 XD
If I had one still, I would have added it. You can either take my word or not but I still included moments of damage not actually meaning anything (or random damage appearing for no reason)
Not rate baiting
Didn’t see the video
2nd video there was a delay but for some reason counted the round as hitting the driver???
If you slow it down you see the spark at the rear which explains why it took the engine out but the driver??? Tf?
1st clip with that it depends on the round, the worse your internet connection the more wonky things can be. Managing a team from Europe playing NA servers I’ve gone back and watched their replays and stuff gets weird.
Reason I bring the round you use into it btw is because there may not be enough penetration left for it to do anything more. (Yes this is a thing and it’s not just you or US tanks, it can be observed even with the DM53 round from the leopards which that’s rare but anyway)
Basically the game says you don’t have the penetration left to do anything else so you either make the crew yellow or kill that crew member or module then do nothing more. Yes your network delay can do something to it
Also if you’re referring how you didn’t kill the T-80 with a side shot to the engine it’s only a chance. Best chance for killing the T-80 and to observe this effect is to shoot the gunners side fuel tank head on.
It should net closer to a 50%-60% chance of killing the tank in one shot
Even though you only hit 1 crew member and no ammo
Actually, he can. It’s only 20mm in this part. At least based on the fact that the hit camera clearly shows the armor piercing through by two objects, it looks like it did.
Unfortunately low video quality and lack of hit replays does not allow to check.
This was due to his network. I slowed it way down, when he fires the shot it’s towards the back of the autoloader. The round itself then lands at the back of the engine compartment confirmed by the sparks
