Remove the R27ER from the MIG29 9-12 and give it a BR 12.3

At BR 12.3, the Red side has major problems, especially in simulator air battles. Blue F-18As (US and Australian), F-16A block 10 (US and IAF), and M2000S4s often simply destroy MiG-23s and Su-25s without facing any serious resistance.

I propose a more historical approach: removing the R-27ER and R-27T missile from the early Mig-29 9-12 USSR becouse early russian MiG-29s (from 1983-1985) did not receive these missiles when they entered service.
(Leave only the R-27R and R60M missiles for the MiG) and moving it to BR 12.3 so that the Red side also have a 4th-generation aircraft to counter the F-16As, F-18As, and M2000S4s. Otherwise, the game is very unbalanced.

For greater historical accuracy, I would give him 2 of P73 on the middle wing pylons.
For greater historical accuracy, I would give him the option of hanging two P73s on the middle wing pylons. (I know the MiG could carry six in 1985, but the missiles were still few in number, and they often flew with that kind of loadout. (2xR60M, 2xR73, 2xR27R + centerline fuel tank)

I don’t understand why gaijin is so obsessed with the ER

Yes, I agree.
9.12 to 12.3 with the removal of R-27ER.

Would make an excellent step from Mig-23MLD at 11.7 to Mig-29 9.13 at 13.0.

ahhhh but i wanna use this as my big ol low tier lofter lol. yea i kinda agree though this is a odd one

Because Russia must win BVR at all coasts, comrade!
Losing BVR to an F-4S/F-20 or an F/A-18A kinematically is a sin! Khrushchev would twist in his grave if that ever happens, just imagine. /s

Especially since it comes at a direct detriment to the aircraft itself (ignoring the fact that the 13.0 ones are arguably on par with 12.7 NATO planes).

It’s just dumb at this point.
