R-77M will be close enough gets more of them , u can also carry r37ms , R77-1s offer good HOBS , ± 120* azimuth coverage of ibris , 360* MAWS , lws . so unless they do a full on AESA rework , proper realistic implementation of ECM its highly unlikely for j16 to be better than the su35.
The tech in the J-16 is also 15 years more modern, if your entire argument for why it’s worse is that Gaijin would have to mismodel it, then it’s not exactly convincing

your argument is literally on gaijin completely re-modelling AESA radars , adding mechanics that arent in the game we dont even have ecm/sensor fusion in game

Even so it does get the r37m, it will the export variant with less range, its better to use pl15 for this situation
