Remove Abrams from china

You should read all player text in this thread .

There is a double standard in how Chinese people view the flag of the Republic of China. I have always maintained that Republic of China vehicles are marginalized on Chinese TT forums, and the ROC army flag is incorrectly used to represent the Republic of China (Taiwan).

Because ROC’s vehicle is still on the ChinaTT, he hasn’t received fair treatment. Therefore, I’d rather he go to the US and receive the treatment he deserves.

AGREED, make Russia suffer like everyone else has. we NEED the M1A2T removed at the very least for a few updates just like they did to the Thai VT4, its extremely hypocritical for them to sob about a vehicle and have it be removed, then say nothing when they are the ones getting something they shouldn’t. We need to get the M1A2T removed just like they removed the Thai VT4, and before any China lovers reply to this, no its not a “Unique tank that America cant have” because its an Abrams that they BOUGHT and then added AMERICAN upgrades to.

We can push M1A2T move to US tech tree idea .

place behind the M1A1HC,the Soviet tank series split into two branches: the T-80 and the T-90.China TT also has export/domestic: MBT2000/VT4 and ZTZ96/99
The American tank should also have export/domestic versions of the Abrams tank.

What a minority of people argue for =/= everyone.
Chinese vehicles in USA would be a mistreatment of those vehicles.
USA’s tech tree should not contain Chinese vehicles. Especially since there’s a Chinese tech tree.

Also, one other thing: Players are not Gaijin Entertainment. The views of players do not represent the views of the company.

I get that you’ve had bad experiences. I get you’ve read awful things.
I myself have never been more livid this year until I witnessed awful statements these last two months.

I cannot let those awful statements cause me to slip from my beliefs, I cannot desire revenge, I must stay true to my consistent views, and I must push for what’s right.

I can’t let bad experiences control me, only I should control me.

Gaijin didn’t remove the Thai VT-4. A vehicle can’t be removed if it wasn’t added to begin with.
The Thai VT-4 was announced as not being intended for the update, and its model isn’t even in the files to my knowledge.

Thai VT-4 should be added of course.
It should be added when it’s ready.

Its development shouldn’t impact other vehicles that are ready to be implemented.

its “not in the files to my knowledge” because the chinese cried so hard it got deleted entirely, I’m 95% sure it was in the dev server until gaijin had to remove it.

As the Chinese now say, the People’s Republic of China is the sole legitimate representative of China, while the Republic of China (Taiwan) is not considered a legitimate entity by them. They believe that the Republic of China no longer exists, therefore, vehicles currently in Taiwan should be included in the US TT system, just like the vehicles of the former Iranian regime (F-14 IRAF).

cool ! That make sensen.

So does the war flag they got in game now, but Gaijin replaced the swastika with the Balkenkreuz. They could have easily done this for the national flag, but didn’t.

I do agree it should be the modern tricolor though, we are way past the techtree being represented by anything but the modern day flag.

It was not, it was the Imperial Japanese Army flag, but never an official national symbol. The flag we have now was the national flag from 1870 to 1999 (with the exception of the US occupation after the war)

War Thunder datamines show zero VT-4 added to Japan.
I’ve searched for it added to files and found nothing.

The statements from Gaijin have been:
“Thailand’s VT-4 is not intended for this update.”
And:

Neither of these statements are anywhere close to denying the Thai VT-4 for War Thunder.

Tbh, if the VT-4 added to Japan was such a dishonor to the Chinese that Gaijin made an exception and added it to the manufacturer country that does not use it, and changed the Japanese faction flag after more than a decade, then adding an Abrams to a country that is hostile towards the US, and towards Taiwan, makes absolutely no sense! And it is way more offensive than a VT-4 being in the Thai subtree.

This means that Gaijin values the Chinese playerbase over the US and Taiwanese playerbase and will gladly offend these last two countries.

At least the post-WW2 Taiwanese tech should be in the US tree !

Transplanting Republic of China vehicles from 1971 onwards onto American TT and giving them the Republic of China flag would be like the F-14 IRAF.

This is perfectly reasonable and aligns with Gaijin’s logic regarding the inclusion of the F-14IRAF as a vehicle in the US.

The VT-4 the Chinese got wasn’t Thai, it’s a Norinco owned demonstrator model used to show the tank to potential customers. It’s a Chinese tank.

Honestly I just hope we get both M1A2T and Thai VT-4 this update so these arguments can stop.

M1A2T is just fine where it is.
Just as VT-4 is fine for Japan.

Anything else is just pure cope.

Guys no point in arguing here. What has been done won’t be changed. They won’t remove M1A2T or add it to US as lot of you are suggesting. They won’t make it realistic either for sake of “balance”

There’s only one Iranian vehicle in the game, it’s not a fully fledged sub tree like Taiwan, so Gaijin didn’t have many options.

One big solution, here me out, at the SEPV3 for america so that way america gets its version.
