Gaijin didn’t remove the Thai VT-4. A vehicle can’t be removed if it wasn’t added to begin with.
The Thai VT-4 was announced as not being intended for the update, and its model isn’t even in the files to my knowledge.
Thai VT-4 should be added of course.
It should be added when it’s ready.
Its development shouldn’t impact other vehicles that are ready to be implemented.
its “not in the files to my knowledge” because the chinese cried so hard it got deleted entirely, I’m 95% sure it was in the dev server until gaijin had to remove it.
As the Chinese now say, the People’s Republic of China is the sole legitimate representative of China, while the Republic of China (Taiwan) is not considered a legitimate entity by them. They believe that the Republic of China no longer exists, therefore, vehicles currently in Taiwan should be included in the US TT system, just like the vehicles of the former Iranian regime (F-14 IRAF).
So does the war flag they got in game now, but Gaijin replaced the swastika with the Balkenkreuz. They could have easily done this for the national flag, but didn’t.
I do agree it should be the modern tricolor though, we are way past the techtree being represented by anything but the modern day flag.
It was not, it was the Imperial Japanese Army flag, but never an official national symbol. The flag we have now was the national flag from 1870 to 1999 (with the exception of the US occupation after the war)
Tbh, if the VT-4 added to Japan was such a dishonor to the Chinese that Gaijin made an exception and added it to the manufacturer country that does not use it, and changed the Japanese faction flag after more than a decade, then adding an Abrams to a country that is hostile towards the US, and towards Taiwan, makes absolutely no sense! And it is way more offensive than a VT-4 being in the Thai subtree.
This means that Gaijin values the Chinese playerbase over the US and Taiwanese playerbase and will gladly offend these last two countries.
At least the post-WW2 Taiwanese tech should be in the US tree !
They believe that the Republic of China no longer exists, therefore, vehicles currently in Taiwan should be included in the US TT system, just like the vehicles of the former Iranian regime (F-14 IRAF).
Transplanting Republic of China vehicles from 1971 onwards onto American TT and giving them the Republic of China flag would be like the F-14 IRAF.
This is perfectly reasonable and aligns with Gaijin’s logic regarding the inclusion of the F-14IRAF as a vehicle in the US.
Guys no point in arguing here. What has been done won’t be changed. They won’t remove M1A2T or add it to US as lot of you are suggesting. They won’t make it realistic either for sake of “balance”
Its not buddy. Not even your USA thinks that. USA accepts one China policy which says Taiwan belongs to mainland China. Also Taiwan is recognized as independent by 12 countries which are Vatican and some tiny Pacific islands…
the only thing holding it from being a sepv3 is the ammo and the engine upgrades, and the armor. The 1A2T has the APPU, optics and low profile crows from the SEP V3. So its more so right down the middle, but comparing it to the SEPV2 in game incorrect because its the earlier SEPV2.
M1a2T technically will be best abrams in the game based on the fact that his has a lower profile crows and doesn’t have any of the extra bs cosmetic stuff the gaijin left on sepv2 that gets you spotted when hull down. Plus gaijin gave it a round that Taiwan never purchased. The devs really shot them selves in the foot by not add sepv3 with m1a2T.
