may i say it’d make more sense to folder both G6 and M109A1 together? both being 155mm slingers?
and also Maybe foldering FV4005 + Conway together? due to their main role as box with gun? and obvious visual similarities?

Using that logic you could folder half of the TTs together and cut the research cost in half.
Well, the future from this rework looks promising, plus some of the new folders might help my grind, not too sure, as I was just doing what I skips/missed.
Now, if this was for the sub-trees, the Nation Folders rework would have been better.
Plus, as with others, hopefully this means Canada & the ANZACs get a home sooner than later.

i’m just saying it makes more sense to folder G6+M109 and then FV4004+FV4005, rather than FV4005+M109 and Tortoise+FV4004, it avoids doubling up on vehicles play roughly the same, with tortoise on its own because it plays and is completely different to the rest of them

My bad, I was replying with a different picture in mind.
Even with their proposed path you’d be playing 4005 > G6 > Tortoise, which as you said are very different vehicles.
Tbh we should rename the tech tree to that at this point

i have no evidence to back this up but there’s still 5 lines, domestic MBTs aren’t changing and the LT branch won’t go to rank 7.
my unsubstantiated guess is that they’re making room for a rank 7 light that didn’t really have a line to slot into while also cleaning up classes a little
I am talking about South Africa not getting it’s independent line as subtree under Britain, not that it shouldn’t be one (Even though South Africa probably deserves it’s own tech tree). I am talking about South Africa being foldered with British vehicles for no reason at all besides freeing up space for Indian subtree, which is somewhat controversial.

Empire was gone long before most the vehicles in the TT existed or went out of service, Commonwealth/CW Aligned would fit way more suitably.
Which I personally am not against. Allows for a whole host of smaller countries which normally wouldnt get a punt at the table into the game.

Only thing that somewhat makes sense to me, there is literally zero other reason to do that besides that. They still can fit the Indian subtree under UK probably
