Hopefully the new turret armor and the add on UFP armor combined with Epsom makes the turret and UFP immune to top tier rounds. Of course it will still have the massive lower plate and drivers hatch weak spots.
If it’s still going to have an underpowered engine, hopefully it gets something in exchange for having poor mobility.
There is the 3 main aspects. Mobility, firepower and survivability. Usually you get 2 but not the third. So as long as the Firepower and survivability are decent, then the mobility wont be an issue, the CR2 and even the CR3TD feel pretty bad because not only do they lack mobility but they also lack meaningful firepower and/or survivability as well.
Between a better shell like maybe DM73/83? (or failing that just maintaining a 5 second reload from the CR2s but with DM53) and all the survivability upgrades (Spall liners, blowout panels, LWS, APS?, Era, armour, etc etc) it should be fairly solid.
Also looks really cool too, that makes up a large chunk of the BR placement as well.

Yeh but IRL the Challengers are so great because of the crew. I genuinely think Challenger 2 crews are the best trained tank crews in the world in terms of speed, communication and tactics. U can have all the fire power u want but if ur tactics, speed or communication is bad, it becomes useless.
The team work can’t really be represented in game.
Yep, classic case of Britain maybe not having the absolute best equipment and almostt certainly outnumbered but having vastly superior training and tactics.
(Sea Harrier during the Falklands or RMC absolutely destroying the US Marines with better equipment, more troops and the home field advantage iirc are other examples of this )
