Im just gonna assume you know that germany ends up against France most of the time, and you also know that like 99% of britains top tier matches are with french on the same side… so why even say that?

yeah, the launch range should go up to 80km, but thats not gonna change the missiles drag or the engine. I get that MICA could probably fly a bit farther if they fixed some of those things, but honestly, every missile needs some kind of fix like that. AAM-4 and PL-12 are also seriously nerfed when it comes to ballistic range, both fly somewhere between an AIM-120B and a 120C, not quite a C5, but just look at them in game, AAM-4 flies like 15km and just gives up, do you really think MICAs gonna get that much better with some tweaks? Im not that optimistic, u r playing the victim by no reason, we are victims of rafale reign. Any buff to this plane goes through easily, while we’ve been trying for years to fix the other planes with solid evidence, and yet we have to deal with the frustration that they are in the game. Last week there was a Rafale dogfight at Brightstar 2025, an F16 Block 50 vs. a egyptian Rafale, I didnt see anything like the “super Rafale” from this game, I even looked up other real life Rafale dogfights and I dont see some crazy machine, at best, its just good//mediocre at sustained turns (rafale actually seems to struggle at high altitudes, since it lost to a single-engine plane above 8,000 feet…, more than 2 times) but honestly, its nothing like how it flies in the game, and I could say the same for any delta canard jet modeled in this game, gaijin have its favorites …

It seems to me that it’s common for planes ingame to not fly like how they do IRL, pulling way more than they actually should. F16 is pulling an amount of AoA ingame that would lead to deep-stalls IRL.

It is developer’s statement that planes ingame pull more than they do IRL, so it is a consistent statement, not fair to single out the Rafale for that.

Yes it would, it’s supposed to have a bit more range while having a burntime of 3.5 seconds, that means much higher acceleration paired with better range and better time-to-target while also underperforming in turn performance.

The MICA is already capable of 80km in-game just not 100km.

If the grippy is a UFO and loses vs jets it apparently shouldnt then i dont kmow what to say…

If every missile gets fixed, MICA wont really have any real advantage, its still gonna suck when it comes to range, unless youre in some super specific launch scenario where you need high AOA, its basically a pointless missile for BVR.

Simply because you can’t use one of the top 5 flight models dosent mean it is bad

Real life i read grippy number 1 guns only. Not sure if true but it deffinitly isnt in game…

missing some context here, Its got the most efficient aerodynamic design out of all the deltas for sustained turns, but its engine is kinda sad, basically, the other delta jets win in situations where you need to rely more on engine power, but if thats not the case, gripen can win pretty easily

Yeah if being the keyword, only the AAM-4 and AIM-120A/B have accepted open reports at this point for range fixes, while the others don’t to my knowledge, so very strong possibility of that advantage still being there.

Only the AIM-120 and MICA have maneuverability reports open and accepted iirc.

So in game raf and grippy in a slow turn fight at ground level.

Perfect conditions for grippy to win in real life= stil loses in game

Reality seems to be only when it suits.
Harrier vs F5 is another 1. IRL ( i read) The harrier using viff, goes vertical and bests F5 every time. Meenwhile in game we have a bus in a harrier skin

It dosent have to because the gripen is a radius fighter ingame, it dosent need to outrate anything because it can simply stay inside the turn circle of an opponent
