MICA EMs are overperforming loads and need a really healthy round of nerfs but the Rafale itself is also overperforming loads. Its basically the Rafale F4 not the F3

Personally, I have absolutely nothing against Rafale and MICAs in their current state. Yes, I pray whenever one gets launched my way sub 20km. Its thrust vectoring missile, it should be absolutely deadly within certain distance.
BUT
with current state of AMRAAMs no matter the version, even if i get to launch first, Rafale still can easily notch all of my missiles, close the gap, and launch MICA. It just feels like pissing against the wind.
If C5s could at least get the same notch gate as MICAs, so that they would actually force Rafale players to properly defend, it would at least create some sense of counterplay (on top of making C5s actually worthwile upgrade over A/Bs).
Except MICA EM is actually proposed in a bug report to gain a faster acceleration while maintaining its current performance, which decreases time to target in relevant ranges so this part isn’t true.

In what way is it overperforming? Are you aware it is currently underperforming in many ways?

and also getting rid of the booster that would massively nerf its close range dogfighting performance as TVC would only be for the first few seconds and not for 9 seconds?
Have you considered there’s potentially going to be a bug report to increase its maneuverability after the burntime is reduced, making it effectively the same or even better than currently?
Then, the Mirageas and Rafale can simply get a BR increase and the Rafale can be limited to 6 missiles.
You are trying to make the most OP jet in the game more OP and expecting 0 consequences.
I actually expect the consequences to be introduction of more advanced aircrafts for all other nations. That is the truest solution.

Typhoons with CAPTOR-E, ASRAAM and Meteor vs Rafale C F3 would be balanced with the buffs you are proposing
I’m sure the Typhoon is underperforming in other ways where it can get buffed as well.

In fact there isnt a single thing that isnt underperforming on the EFT. Even the German one has the wrong name
Specific Excess Power. Especially at high altitudes.
There’s some truth to this since Rafale shouldn’t be capable of Mach 3 if VNE limit wasn’t a thing. How to quantify it is another question though.
This is how you know that’s not possible:
it is public data that its radar signature is greater than that of the Eurofighter, but in the game it is the opposite
