Radar locking MiG-23s

Hi! I’ve been playing top tier since around October, and have acquired both MiG-29SMT and the SU-27. Ever since I got them, I’ve faced some down-tiers where I get into battles with MiG-23s and other 11.3 aircrafts.

Does anybody else have this problem where they can’t lock on to a MiG-23? I’ve tried every direction and distance but I can’t get a proper lock on them (even during head-ons at 2-7kms). I got killed a few times because my radar struggles to acquire them. Do they have some stealth tech or something? lol

Might be skill issue but I’m just wondering if it’s actually a bug and other players might have noticed this.

Yes I have the same problem, gaijin please let us change MTI mode manually as it was before update, every mig 23 player complains about it… Its not that much

maybe you misunderstood him, it other plane locking on MiG-23s, not MiG-23 locking others.
This problem still exists, really annoying. Many attack chances just skip from me, leaving me eating the R24Rs.
IDK why gaijin still don’t fix this, there’s lots of mig23 players, and this bug affects almost all players at this BR.
