RAAF F/A-18F: Twin-Seat Superbug!

Yeah won’t go over points because samuri is giving the same answers I’d give and I want to say the US is prob getting more advanced F-16 blocks in the near future so there’s that

germany kept soviet stuff after the fall like the is2 / bmp2 / t55A / t55amv / t34. but some of them are copy slop so just few can come to replace weaker in the aleardy german tree.

bmp2 can replace marder with its weak gun.
the t55amv can replace the m48
the zsu23-4 can without at 7.0 can replace the weak wiesel spaa.

Yeah yall are starting to get it lmao, but I guess I can use the very same argument people are repeating here: what would any of these actually bring to the USSR tech tree?

That’s right, nothing. Who cares about the 23BN, another Su-17? Another MiG-17 but now with afterburner? Weaponry are a problem of their own, MiG-29SM when the SMT exists?

Don’t get me wrong tho, YES, I would like to see a lot of those in-game. Just pointing out the shallow arguments being used here.

Personally I was just ragebaiting because that argument is dumb asf imo, personally I wouldn’t mind them being tossed in as folder filler slop but yk yk

Also don’t down play MiG-17PF like that, they mog.

what happened to this claim? Germany is already one of the largest, and definitely one of the strongest ground trees in the game as it stands. Why should we keep funneling more vehicles into it, especially when said vehicles can ALL be found inside the USSR tree?

i explained that not all slops can come and just 2 or 3 to replace the already weak ones that i mentioned.

not same as looks good f18F addition.

That’s exactly what we’re saying about the 18F lmaooo but this guy is SO MAD for some reason.

Core thing to point here: YES, the 18F would add little to no value in the US tech tree, copy paste, filler, whatever. BUT IT’S JUST COOL.

The exact same can be said about a BUNCH of other vehicles, they would serve little to no purpose but they’re just cool and would be nice to have.

If I remember correctly that’s basically Gaijin’s official take on strategic bombers… On BVVD’s Q&A when asked about strategic bombers he said they might appear in the game as “museum pieces, collector’s aircraft or event vehicles (which often are bums), they could be interesting for players”

That’s the entire point, it might not be the most functional thing ever, BUT IT’S JUST COOL AND PEOPLE WANT IT, but again, there’s a certain someone here fuming about that idea.

i am not dont worry simply having a talk here.

I’m honestly surprised we don’t see more of the whole content copy paste stuff, but they’re probably waiting for things to die down with top tier so they can add a 1 to 1 copy of something into a TT from another TT/Prem area.

You obviously got some sort of animosity towards the f18 if your arguing to these lengths to not have it added to the us tech tree

They seem to be trying to stretch out additions as far as possible, like how they held off so long on the hornets in the first place.

Held off Hornets were? Now they were rather delayed but let’s not forget my boy MiG-29Kr/K (IAF)…

Which atp are so outdated they’re more nothingburger than the new french event-16.

no ? i am aginst all double seated plane if they dont have a advantage over the single seat like better case selection of automatics selection by copilot.

i got nothing againt f18

Oh yeah, lets not open that can of worms XD

if a vehicle fits into a tech tree with good reason (built and/or operated by the country or its subtrees) then it should go there.

Its natural for some trees to be bigger, how can new countries like israel ever compare to the might that is the USA or British Empire in arsenals of history? As long as all nations are competitive it doesnt matter much

Marder A1 is 7.7 and Marder A3 is 8.0. BMP-2 is 8.7.

mKPZ M47 G is 7.3. T-55AM is 9.0.

Both Wiesel 1A4 and ZSU-23-4M2 are 7.3, but the ZSU-23-4M2 was specifically built as a stopgap solution while the BMP-2 was being developed during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, therefore, it would be impossible for Germany to receive it.

Also are you seriously trying it use the Wiesel as an SPAA? :sob:

Will other aircraft like the F15 and F16 be able to carry it?
