Just curious, to people who either own or know people who have bought this tank, is it a worthy buy for the next 50% sale? I really like the Merkava and Israeli tech tree, but haven’t wanted to grind the tree with the vehicles that start it because of how miserable they are, is this just the same as the other Merkava or does it have a bit of bias?
For the next sale its be great, but both is good, only the NVD is bad, if you want Merkava Mk2 dont forget you dont reach the Top tier only using him
early merkavas bounces some stuff, but the higher u go the more miserable it gets

The Merkava Mk.3 has the same shell as the Strv 122 at 12.0. It’s a good round.
The issue is that the Merkavas have random durability. Sometimes they take every hit thrown at them, while other times you’ll be killed by a shell glancing a plate and spalling like a shotgun into your entire crew.
The Ra’am and American Mk.3D also have weird ammunition placement compared to every other Merkava. Instead of filling the right hull ammo first, they both fill evenly. This is detrimental to your survivability and greatly increases your chance of being ammo-racked.
use them both, bit of a mixed bag, armor sometimes holds.
Raam Segol has more engine power nd a good round for its BR, both where never going to be speed demons.
For me the 2D, less hp/t then the 2B, due to 3t anti mine armor, which i removed;)
Also to make it a little more competitive, maybe look at giving it M426 (DM63), a round already present on the Gal Batash and the 7C, both sitting at 9.3. even talk about the M428 Sword, but can’t find much about it. 4th gen APFSDS, wiki says 50 m/s faster the M426, but lighter, with less powder charge.
At the same BR we have the Sabra Mk1, which has somewhat functional armor and a round that can clap anything without issue, mobility just sucks,
Personally i would like M426 to be added as the top round.
