Probably you are compareing J-7E. Agreed J-7E is much better than J-7D but, isn’t it possible to move up to 11.3BR with PL-8s for makes it counterpart of Kfir C.7? You know current J-7E is one of best 11.0BR jets at the moment.
My kills with the F-104s are almost 50:50 with guns and missiles.
It appears you are unaware that China has a J-7II that is basically MiG-21 F-13 with additional guns and bit better thrusts.

Probably, that’s language barrier but, You are the one who said the J-7D was a MiG-21 F-13, not MiG-21MF that is actually close to the J-7D in the game.

If you want PL8s on J7E then it must be remodled to J-7G or add a separate foldered one for 11.3. Afaik J-7G has HMD too?
i’d replace it altogether with F-7PG and make it 11.7, I don’t like the fact that 11.0 rear aspect IR only plane exist.
IIRC, J-7G has an HMD, but I don’t think J-7E did from what I’ve read of the suggestion for implementation.
BRUH. You can see both MiG-21s has diffrent thrust from x ray.
literally different engine, still weaker than Bis. the aerodynamic is still MiG-21, without all aspect it should not touch 11.0

The R-60/R-60M is no longer that great in the current meta, and the PL-5B with longer range is far better than the R-60M since the missile meta has shifted from high G missiles to a long range meta because of the drag nerf.

I absolutely destroy most games I am in in that plane. It is fine as is. Usually I don’t say it but in this case it really is a skill issue. Japan has the worst 11.0 Prem plane.

No, the J-7E don’t have a radar other than the rangefinding radar.
And you can’t radarslave the PL-5
