@Sahilku010101 (DEV)Issue with the Reworked MUSS IRCM no label
Not only to you, but gaijin always have “sekrit documents”
Just using google and I already see 10-15 pictures with more than 5° elevation.
The 0° isn’t that bad but if it only has 5° the spike missle crashes into the ground if you are standing downhill (would still be nice to have -19° again)
acknowledgeg
because of the changes to the launcher my spikes just nosedive into the ground if im moving at all
already fixed
In summary, don’t bother grinding the VJT when it goes public
I hate to do this to you again, @Smin1080p_WT, but please, can you inquire the devs about this?
The oversimplification of Puma’s armor plates had lead to its armor being, roughly speaking, 50% less effective against KE projectiles than it should be.
Not to mention, despite me and @MythicPi providing you & the devs with a detailed description of how the lower frontal plate should be, VJTF still has the same old model as the “S0” Puma, where the thick RHA plate is “15mm”, and the secondary backplate completely missing from the model.
Hey. Please submit any issues via reports so we can properly pass them for review, evaluate the sources and check them out in detail.
We cannot do this with them in this current state.
To add to that, my estimate have been an understatement;
Puma’s NERA layers are at the very least 14mm thick (currently in WT they’re just 5mm in the DM lmao);
Puma’s upper plate has 4 of them:
56mm of pure composite, 75% of which is at least RHA (~42mm), that is without the backplate which measures at least 20mm and additional composite layers being ~20mm combined;
So, RHA amount in the upper plate should be at least 70mm, possibly up to 75mm.
Regarding what @Jεcka mentionned, what is the status of this bug report I previously provided you a few years back? Last we talked about it you said it was still open and had passed it to the devs, but seeing as the Puma VJTF retains the same terrible LFP model of the current in-game Puma, with obvious significantly mismodelled thickness n the LFP’s front-plate, and a completely missing backplate, I’m starting to doubt the report was ever passed to the devs, much less looked at and seriously considered despite the fact we VERY CLEARLY can visually see the armor array of the LFP is modelled wrong.
Here is the report in-case it was somehow "lost":
As previously indicated, this is very much not a minor issue. An entire missing 50mm steel plate, and a 50mm steel plate modelled as 15mm is equivalent to a whopping 85% reduction in RHA between the 2 plates. Its quite frankly embarrassing on gaijins part, and at this point, im starting to think is a case of deliberate mismodelling due to biases against germany as a nation.
@Smin1080p_WT Also, are the developers aware that there is no lineup for this thing at 10.7? As it is, it will literally be Germany’s only 10.7 vehicle. Have they considered giving it eight missiles and maybe if the armour is fixed it could be raised to 11.0?
Here you go dear Smin:

Though, I don’t think there is a need to “review” anything when you’ve been given a tape measurement of the layer, is there? Just de-couple the layers from each other, make them into four separate ones all 14mm thick thick, with 10mm of each layer being RHA, and 4mm being “rubber”, and add a 20mm RHA backplate.
Simple, isn’t it? But I’m guessing this is gonna take the developers 2 years to “review”, and then close it on the basis of “the upper plate is correct”, heh. As you can tell, I am extremely pessimistic due to the dev’s atrocious track record and their tendency to “nuh uh” (especially when goddamn roblox developers have taken note that maybe, just maybe, acting like you’re unfalliable doesn’t score you any brownie points with your playerbase, and that the vehicles should be modelled based on the best information available, which at the moment is what I have provided in my bug report, rather than what the developers, who believe the armor of modern tanks can’t be any better than of prototypes that lead to them).
Seriously, if all you’re gonna give us this patch (TT wise) is just the same Puma we have already had for the past two and a half years, but with SPIKES, you should do a much better job at fixing it.
I have questions
1.) where did you get these pictures from ( was it yourself, a friend, website etc.)?
2.) are there more?
read the request that jecka submited he says where he got pictures from
Secret.
are there more?
Yes.
Im not sure but it is VT03 right?
Still waiting for that C tech 2A4 man
Just came across some interesting documents about the Austrian Ulan IFV, I’d love to see that thing make it’s way to the German tech tree together with other Austrian vehicles.
The stats are pretty decent for it.
- 25.2t with 721 HP engine, 28.6 hp/t ratio.
- 73 km/h forwards, -35 km/h backwards.
- 45°/sec turret traverse.
- 30mm APFSDS, >100mm penetration @ 1000m @ 0°.
- 205 rds carried.
- Thermal sights, 2.8x - 8.4x magnification
- 12 smoke dischargers with possible maximum of 24
