How do I buy something on the MS Store and link it to my WT account?

microsoft/xbox live and gaijin account linking is suspended at the moment… Makes no sense

Like EuroPilot stated, it is NOT currently possible to link/transfer your War Thunder account to Xbox/Live/Microsoft etc. Please do NOT attempt to purchase anything from the Xbox/Microsoft store UNLESS your War Thunder account is ALREADY an Xbox/Live/Microsoft account. Don’t want to see anyone have issues trying to refund a purchase that cannot be applied to their “normal” PC War Thunder account.
Unless your War Thunder account already has the “-live” at the end of your account/profile name (because it is an Xbox/Live/Microsoft account), do NOT attempt to purchase items for War Thunder from the Microsoft Store:

So knowing that you can’t link an Xbox live account to your PC war thunder account, why even have this listed as Xbox live and PC?.. why not just make the sale across the board? 🤷

Thanks. That should have been in the advertisement. They didn’t explain anything.
Plus, the words “on PC” suggest that people who aren’t on Xbox live can purchase them as well. Which is technically correct, but … it’s too vague in my opinion.
