Could y’all please add ‘Late’ to the end of it, or tie the premium to whatever squadron you want to. And then add an ‘Early’ at 12.3 without the AMRAAM’s that’s balanced as a strike aircraft instead of a fighter, in the strike line between the A-10C and the AV-8B+, and if you go the route the premium is tied to a particular squadron camo give us a D (Late) at whichever BR this thing will be at, again as a strike aircraft, and then the top of the strike aircraft line becomes the F/A-18F for now till you guys add the F-35 or something.
As is - it creates a gap for us Arcade players where between 11.7 and 13.3 we don’t have a strike aircraft in that line, it’s slightly worse in the bomber line that ends in the F-15E with the gap being 11.7-14.0. And considering the 2 seater Hornets are typically deployed in the strike aircraft role - makes them great to fill the gap in at least the strike line which a larger percentage of is Navy aircraft as well. And I specifically say to balance them as strikes cause while I know there are the people who go ‘just use the F/A-18A’ the problem is that in Arcade, dumb ordnance can be way more effective for knocking out bases and then going after other ground targets, more so than some of the smart stuff that you might not really have the time to setup to guide. And being labeled strikes means a 40-ish second reload on dumb ordnance with a well trained crew rather than around 4 minutes. It also helps in the fact that as you start playing those upper BR’s - the maps are just too damn big for things like the A-10, and F-111’s just become target practice. Gives us an option that’s solid at hitting bases, hitting ground targets, fighting back, and not taking 6 weeks to get to the fight, if it ever even makes it.
Cause hey - some of us actually understand the objectives in Arcade matches and that it’s not just Team Deathmatch.
yeah the F-18C has 10 AIM-120s and 2 AIM-9s
but you may be able to get it at 13.0 if Gaijin goes out with the new

This is simply a two seat version of an aircraft thats been in the US tree and avaliable for research for over a year now.

We wanted this as a premium over the F-14D btw. Nobody liked the F-14D premium
This D variant seems to be better than the C in the TT because it may be at a lower, more suitable, BR for a F/A-18, with the limited AIM-120 loadout
Since its Loadout is 6 aim120Bs instead of The 10 C-5s, is this going to be a lower br that the F-18C late, and if yes by how much.

that would be my guess too but that makes me a little worried about the Su30 matchup without the C-5

Might as well rename myself to YEAR OF THE HORNET, im looking so much forward to playing 18C early now
I know it’s a rather silly request Smin but please tell me (if can you say) if the D model is getting VMFA(AW)-224 as a skin. If it’s not yet can it be considered please? They were the last USMC all weather squadron still active before they relinquished their hornets earlier this year. They then swapped to the 35B. The colorbird scheme is amazing (images attached) and I’d love to have that scheme in game. Their Low-vis would be nice to have too but if the D model doesn’t get a VMFA(AW)-224 skin, especially so the color bird, it would be pretty disappointing. Their F-35B’s got a similar scheme to their low vis on their hornets.

I wish might be minimum for aircraft to rank IX

And what exactly holds gaijin back from giving us a Tech Tree F/A-18D that gets triple folded under the F/A-18A and C Late for the people that have the full tree already and dont need a premium? It seemed to be possible with the F-14D too. I already have the full tree researched and already own the F/A-18C early Premium and A-6E in the US tree. The F/A-18D is one of m favorite aircraft and now i cant play it because it makes zero sense to buy it for someone like me sadly.
18a at 12.3. 4 arm, 2 aim7, 2 aim9, decent fm and no more su30 and s300/2s6 uptiers in escalation
