afaik only a small amount were built new to ztz96b standards with the majority being ztz96as upgraded to the b standard

Every source i see says they’ve again been made in limited numbers specifically for tank biathalones and competitions.
They made/ upgraded a handful of 96As to the B standard

Guys, unless you have some sort of official source countering what is said in the OP, I don’t know why you’re even debating this issue. Not mass produced > mainly used in Tank Biathlon. Premium material.

Imagine the WT community not being so hypocritical.
We finally get a unique premium which is not a mass produced unique vehicle. So it fits the roll absolutely perfectly, yet the community are crying that it’s unique and shouldn’t be a premium.
Like if we get copy paste, they cry, if we get unique, they cry.
This is IMO a perfect squadron vehicle, however it is also a more than adequate premium tank and is a welcome change from stuff which is just the same vehicle.

I think the outrage is because most people believe the ZTZ96B was mass produced when it was not. I don’t blame them, the standardized name makes it sound like it entered common service, and to my knowledge it is still unclear how many ZTZ96Bs were produced exactly, or precisely what was unsatisfactory about the design so that production terminated after a few vehicles.
Then people should do some research before jumping the gun so fast to make erroneous statements.
as far as I am aware it was about 12 or so were made originally.

Latest news, gaijin remove the LWS and IRST Tracker,why? only 2 days for new tank…
but we can still open the Y-1-1 radar/irst Menu for IRST Tracker in test drive…

Tell me why the maneuverability was weakened. The acceleration now is not at the same level as yesterday. You also removed the photoelectric lock and laser warning system. If it’s a balance adjustment, tell me why it was changed in just two days. What is your data source? Why hasn’t BMPT adjusted RB for a month ，This is fraud. Why didn’t you remove it when it was on the dev server and wait until the official update?

I was using it earlier on and had LWS
Everything does by anything spam firing.
Same result if a gepard hoses it down…
However they removed LWS and the damn tracking? Which its known to have.

i come back after a few moments and then the vehicle gets giga nerfed within less than a week? what made this happen?
They added back all ths stuff and need to change the model
