You haven’t even compared the battle pass in BF6 and this game yet, lol.
Kh-59 would be better than Taurus and Storm Shadow in game anyway. So there isn’t much of a reason not to add them.
Doesn’t it need a control pod for that?
no if its tv guided they dont really need an extra pod
As far as I can work out, it is meant to function similar to the Martel missile (i.e. the missile beams video back to the aircraft and the person in the aircraft can select the impact point).
So I guess Gaijin have satly president that such weapons act as TV guided missiles in game. I don’t know if the kh-59 needs a separate data link pod like Martel does, but if so, that pod should be modelled.
it would be great if they added a pod like the f16 so it can zoom in and lock easier
That’s not what the pod is for on Martel, it is to provide data link communications to the missile. The question is whether the data link equipment is internal on the Su-30 (quite possible given how much newer it is) or whether it also needs to carry a data link pod.
this su30 model does not have an internal pod for that but the kh59 is tv so it doesnt need an extra pod really for guidance mostly cause its not manualy guided by the pilot
The currect Su-30SM what included in the game is doesn’t exist. It has SM2 weaponry, a regular SM radar and engine. The thrust vectoring doesn’t work normally, so the flight model is also wrong. There’s too little lift and too much drag. The whole thing is a bastardized fiction that’s heavily nerfed and mixed variants trash
All of them is useless in term of the game because of AA.
Well, they say the Kh-59M missile has command guidance in the final phase of flight, and for that it needs such a device on the carrier aircraft:

That’s the thing. The Kh-59 is not TV guided in the same sense that the AGM-65 is.
The Kh-59 is fired at long range (100+ km) against a set of co-ordinates, and cruises there under IOG / GPS guidance. When it gets close to the target it then turns on the TV seeker and data-links video back to the launch aircraft, the pilot then manually guides it onto the target.
I notice that none of this answered my request for evidence that the Su-27 FM is underperforming, so I’ll just assume that you lack such evidence
“The guidance system is two-stage — autonomous programmed guidance during the initial phase of flight, and radio-command guidance followed by terminal homing once the missile reaches the target detection range.”
So it has terminal homing, but to designate its target you need that pod.
So without the pod in game it should work like a penguin then? I.e it going after the first hot thing it sees and you better pray it’s not a friendly.
No, in principle, without that pod it won’t receive any target lock signal from the WSO.
So is the N001VEP from the earliest MKKs currently used in the dev server “final” or is it actually gonna get its Zhuk in-game? I can’t see any sense in nerfing the radar when the MiG-29SMT is already using the N010 Zhuk at 13.3
when you make a claim like “flanker FM is under-performing” you should be prepared to provide proof of your claims, otherwise it is baseless speculation
Then tell me why, whenever you watch any airshow, the planes behave much better? Why cant perform the same maneuvers in the wt that they can in real life? Simple, all flanker platform in the wt is overnerfed brick with 0 lift. When they gave the F-2 more lift than the F-16 with the reasoning that “we are giving it more lift because it has a larger wing area than the F-16” then why didn’t they give more lift to the Su-33 and Su-30SM? Oh right, too many usamain start the cry
that’s nice and all mate but I don’t see you posting any concrete proof ie documented evidence backed up with comparisons to ingame tests so basically I’m going to disregard your post as baseless sooking
