IIRC the premium one gets extra armor on LFP in form of track armor so it is technically better than the TT IS-1.
Not saying its good, its just kinda funny.
An extra 20mm of armor (if its that thick) isn’t going to stop any guns you face at that BR unless you get in a downtier. The main issue with the IS-1 is its sluggish w/ bad turret traverse. KV-85 is basically the same tank with worse hull armor, but its at 5.0.

4-5 br would have been a better choice for new players, and it would also solve some of the crisis 5.x has in having the worst MM in ground. Also not a fan of things like having a light tank be your highest br vic in the pack, lights tds and spaa are fine to bring up in br, but heavies and mediums suffer a lot more.
Probably also should toss a plane in these so its an actual complete package deal, but maybe im being too greedy ))).
Better worth to buy T-72AV, M1A1 click bait and Challenger DS…
UK pack:
Crussader AA MK II
the worst UK SPAA… fast but paper able to carry AP-T and HE belts but each magazine contain only 60 rounds while reloading speed is too hight as an SPAA.
Moreover not exist only HEF-I belt just HEFI-T which allow planes to locate it thanks to tracert rounds.

Sherman VC:
good mobility and good firepower but got a huge reload speed nerf thanks to first order mechanism. Only 5 round(located in turrent basket and the remaining ammo not easy to reach by loader from unknow reason) and the loader not restore it fast. However his solid shots have a huge penetration power but most time need 2-4 shot / tanks if enemy not show his weakpoints where able to kill them with one shot. So if you not able to use it it will painfull.

copy paste of Sd.Kfz 251/21… instead of this better prefered something soviet made vehicle tank the GERMAN ‘wonder waffe’… the better option is the MTLB / BTR-ZD/ BTR-40 with ZSU-23-2/ZPU-2/ZPU-4 or URAL truck with 57mm S-68 for 5.3 BR…

Basic low BR SPAA but farm this tank instead of buy it. If you want to boost the research i recommend T20 seal cubber premium tank that woth it much more better than this pack.
You’re ignoring the soft stat that makes it the best, turret traverse speed, @ 70 degrees a second, it’s almost double the AEC and Crusader Mk.1 (40 degrees a second), and 10 more than the SA spaag and Skink ( @ 60 degrees a second)
The ‘russian’ Hanomag is rank III, which is a big thing. The german one is rank II, you all know what this means. Its just not fair. Don’t even talk about the MG151 armed Hanomag isn’t in Ger TT. Thats pretty unprecedented that a vehicle appears as captured premium before it ever gets added to its home country.

100% disagree, the is1 can be extremely tanky, especially at range, unlike the t34-85 that is paper thin. It’s tank that’s requires skill to brawl, but it can do it, unlike the t35-85 that is dead at the first mistake. To me it’s the t34-85 that is crap.
Cupola, cheeks, LFP, too many weakspots for my liking and unlike 34/85 it cant effectively flank making the 85mm much less useful in uptiers when compared to the identical gun on 34/85.
Pretty much this. T-34-85 is 25-30 km/h faster, has troll volumetric trap armor, and the same firepower. Neither the IS-1 or T-34-85 can tank direct hits from Panthers, Tigers, or 76mm Sherman, but your odds of surviving and flanking are much higher on the T-34.
We won’t add new nations because they are clones, which is why we are introducing clones.
AFAIK if you buy them on launch day you get the same bonuses as if you preordered them.

4 20mm and not an open top is hardly a bad SPAA, unless you are judging it based on it being a tank destroyer.
Whirblwind is a better spaa at 3.7 than anything germany gets till the gepard or closed top thing at 7.0 which has no lineup anymore, and gaijin decided the coelian was less fake than the ostwind 2 so we lost our closed top option. People stop using it at higher brs because things like the 30mm quad thing at 6.0 shreds tanks and is good enough for spaa duty.
Same for things like the zsu 23 at 6.0 being tossed in favor of the one at 6.3 because its a better TD but much worse spaa for russia.
Being mostly immune to strafing from guns is a pretty big deal for fighting actual planes.
