Ah, but soviets suffer, so they have different rules for what can and cannot be added to their aircraft.
its not like the soviets are the only ones benefitting from double standards
jas39a had no skyflashes
f5c has fictional flares
pl-5b stats are literally from janes lol
french super sabre has no 9e for whatever reason
as you can see, the only ones actively getting shafted are the french, as always xD
I mean maybe the French never used the 9E idk? But it must’ve been compatible still so it’s kinda unfair
exactly, the “was never used” never stopped them from adding things like flares to f-5’s
that’s my thought that it’s only been seen with 2 strapped to it
it’s practically because the wing loading limit would definetely allow it and the electronics just the same.
maybe they’ll change it later on though
Maybe, but balancing it becomes hard.
If Hawk 200 RDA is 11.0 with 2x 9Ls and 4x AGM-65B. Surely that would mean the Hawk 209 with 2x Aim-9P-4 and 4x AGM-65G would be more like 11.3.
At which point, is that too high?
Im not sure either way though
that’s my thought also, maybe it will change in the future though, things change all the time after all
that camouflage really cool
anything special of the plane compared to current hawks in game
It’s the Two seat trainer Hawk, While not adopted, the SAAF commissioned and integrated a GPS guided bomb, and has the more powerful adour 951 (It’s also structurally very different to the Mk.100). (Could also take A-Darters but that’s unlikely to come)
Replaces the Hair-dryer engine for something with a bit more oomph in it, has digital avionics and unfortunately doesn’t carry Mavericks so it just gets the usual dumb-bomb loadout of 250lb, 500lb and 1000lb bombs. If there’s one thing that’s different is that ours are compatible with IRIS-T and has a single 30mm ADEN gunpod on the belly. In-game it could probably just be fitted with Aim-9Gs or something because this thing is pretty much an 8.7 CAS plane lol
