It’s just crazy the timing Gaijin adds a F-14D and the US Gov is about to have a F-14D be rebuilt to flying shape. Doubt and correlation though.

It was just testing though, since this was a service aircraft they will not implement things that were only tested.
But they should and what about that kh38mt something missiles?

its Lazy if you ask me, they release it for hype or something to make money but put no real effort into making it at all, just copy and paste pretty much.

The F-16AJ was a proposed aircraft that lost to the F-15J, part of the proposal was increasing the amount of Sparrows by adding an additional pylon on each gear door. This was done to bring the missile count up to 8 which was the minimum required amount of missiles required by Japanese doctrine at the time. But it was only a proposal, the only F-16 Japanese pilots sat in was the YF-16A.
Additionally I would also like to just point out that on the topic of tested weaponry only being added to prototype aircraft, that doesn’t necessarily seem to be the case considering there’s the Kh-38MT which as far as public sources are aware, exist as a mockup/prototype only, yet are on numerous production aircraft in-game.

copied the files, changed the name to D, changed the radar name and a couple specs, added a camo. Thats all they did lol.
How their is plenty of evidence f14D was completely cable of using aim120 and last time I checked nearly none for the kh38mt

havent looked into ther kh38mt thing. I care more about the accuracy of the F-14D since this is what this thread is about.

I’d rather see the 54C+ added instead of the AMRAAM, give it the historical armament it carried first before adding in planned weaponry.
