Yeah something tells me it wasn’t the community that’s reported it for being “inappropriate”.
If they wanted a side-grade, they could have just chosen the F-14BU instead of the F-14D.

on top of that they’ve deleted my comments discussing the price of the F-14D Pack and where i said pre-ordering Ace Combat 8’s deluxe edition was more worth the money.

this is a skill issue and you shouldn’t be multipathing in 2026, even in an F-14.
if you find yourself multipathing to survive, you’re likely going to die within the next minute or two.
for all its faults, the F-14 should still be flying high, like everything else, even if you aren’t slinging underperforming phoenixes or fictional missiles

okay well you bringing a tomcat into ground battles is kindof your fault especially when the F-16A with mavericks (guided F/F, something the tomcat does not get) is only a .3 increase.
if you actually want to engage pantsirs, you might want to fly low, yes, but for the love of god use literally anything other than a tomcat. the F-4E or F-5E of all things will treat you better in CAS than the tomcat because they have the one thing that’s basically a must-have for engaging high level SPAA that the tomcats do not: FIRE AND FORGET MUNITIONS.

The fact they are locking the VX-9 skin behind a pre-order also peevs me one more my favorite F-14 skins and it’s locked to a joke of a premium that shouldn’t be a premium.

just get a user skin if you don’t care about others being able to see it. whenever there’s a camo i like i just go on wtlive and get it from there, i’m not going to pay for something i can get for free and i don’t care about others seeing my aircraft’s paintjob
I have had that user skin but the idea of reping the skin for your favorite group is disappointing

I’m also going to pre-order AC8 (but the standard edition), it coming with AC0 is a deal too good to miss. Would rather get 2 games than a virtual plane. There are very few vehicles that i would even consider spending money on in war thunder as a proud F2P.

Okay notching can be easy in some planes but not all even the f14 with bol pods can prove to be difficult especially when you find you self against 2+ missiles coming from different directions

Fakour90’s performance is almost entirely fictional, and the iranian F-14A never used the R-27

True forgot about that one although unlike some Russian armaments at least the f-90 has photos and I think videos of it working I would rather have either the r73 or fatter missile than the r27r especially now that it can carry 6x f90

They absolutely are going to add all the real weaponry to the F14D, cause no veteran player is gonna buy this BS, and all the level 10 noobs that actually buy this BS are gonna Tank the hell outta the win rate and KD ratio of this vehicle

The point is…
You have 3!!! different versions of 14D that you can use that ALL of them are more valid than Yak 141 and MiG 29 having 27ER!!!
You have the planes that were build as 14D from the start.
You have the 14D(R) which is the same plane, if they want to be accurate to the point it has 1 difference… Different G-limits. Original 14D , because newly built it could go 9G+ . D(R) had restriction for safety reasons though…like 1G less , following the As and Bs safety resctictions.
And then you have the NF-14D , the one you even made the camo of , the VX ones. Those among other things were weapon testers. Could shoot 120s, could shoot 9X , could shoot HARM and AGM-84 … and it is as real as any TT plane, problem is it was limited (yet more than Yak 141s anyway…)
Or… not so few . From the 55, 8-10 went NF! that’s about 1/6th of them.
You could give NF-14D as premium, with 120A/B or even C (because the weapon testers tested it, that’s what they do…) , AIM-54C ECCM/sealed , AIM-7P, 9M-8 and you can even give it X in the future , AGM-84s, HARM it has fired everything the navy has

Remember that pilot that said he carried 9X in 14D over Afghanistan? Yes with a little research , he probably had the NF that they gave back to the unit (yes by the end some NFs went to units…full extra baby) ! So , we are talking VERY real planes.
So yes you could do this , put it 13,7 or something …you’d have even aliens come to earth to buy it , it would rain money for an eternity, as long the server was on.
And make 14D Tech Tree and D(R) squad (more money) with 54C eccm/sealed and 9M/7P …at 13,3.
But instead because GJ can’t even think profitable , you do tthe BS you did now and you have from the 150% you could have a 20% because most people won’t even buy as a payback.
While you have crazy people like me that i would buy both NF -14D and a squad one because we like the plane.
I mean… at this point i start to think people at GJ intentionally play the life on hard mode and even simple thoughts as being profitable are mind boggling to them. They get confused.
I mean, you give 3 versions , which are realistic…with correct armament (even NFs is futuristic but more real than MiG 29/27ER …imagine this) and people will buy like mad.
You prefer BEING WRONG, trash talked around internet and have maybe 20% of the profit you’d have and that will affect other sales you just show yourselves as unreliable (not realistic armament ) , Biased (if it has a red star Tomcat would have AIM-152 with azzpull stats better than Meteor missiles) ,
beggars for money (too agressive marketing hits VERY bad to adult people… buy this buy that, i’ll buy what i want stfu) …
and from the bad reps/comments people will do …it will affect sales.

Here’s the my real stats
I’m not the best player, sure but I bought the A6E tramwhich make up 1/3 of my air RB games (positive KD still) and used it for air RB just to grind out the entire us tech tree(which was stupid) , I just learned to notch recently as I’ve finally reached top tier, my stats have dropped recently as I’ve gone back to using early tier jets for Germany, and I was using the 50 cal Me 262 in air RB, I literally finally hit lvl 100 as of like last month? Maybe the month before
