Still waiting for proof that anything you slapped the KH-38MT/MTE onto could carry that either.
I couldn’t care less, as I enjoy using it, since playing US ground is miserable (thanks for that too).
Just pick one stance or the other, and stick to it.
But don’t sit around telling us “it is not possible, it never happened, do not ask for imaginary weaponry” with a straight face.

Been playing the game since late 2017. Been watching bad decision after bad decision be made for the entire goal of financial gain. Now I understand this is a video game, they have fiscal goals to meet, it makes sense. I’m not here to complain about Gaijin entertainment wanting to make money, it’s more about how they make money. This plane is going to be bad, it does not fit the meta at all. It will play identically to the current F-14B, mark my words. It has the exact same capability from a combat perspective: 1:1 flight performance, 1:1 weapons and countermeasures… but oh a better radar? big whoop. It’s not like they ever employed HMD on these things, the radar is just stronger and that’s LITERALLY IT. I almost considered buying it (or at least whenever it drops to 50% off) and after reading that it lacks AIM-9M and AIM-7P? Lol… I’ve spent more money on this game than I’d like to share and I can promise you that I will never own this premium. I kid you not (check my WT profile if you don’t believe me) I own every single US air premium in game, I’m a WT US main whale with countless other prems in other nations. I cannot bring myself to buy this on 2 grounds: #1 It’s going to genuinely suck SO BAD, without a moments rest of fun apart from the occasional down-tier. #2 paywall pre-order blocking the Evaluators skin… likely the most anticipated skin option for an F-14 model in WarThunder’s history and they paywalled it… That reason alone is shallow enough that I cannot bring myself to spend a single penny on this shameless premium cashgrab slop. Thank you, rant over :)

hope the pre order is acting like a early version. with a f-14d for tt to have the more advanced missiles. like 9m and aim-54c+

They dont, they have the R27R which arent bad but the radar lets it down still and theyre nowhere near the ER in performance

yeah that could be held back for the TT Version as i just said. its possible like with the aim-120 on f-18c. had the early version without them for the premium, but the late TT version uses them.
That is kinda what the community wants rn.
Other people want the F 14 to carry AIM 120.
afaik the only F 14 that can carry and fire AIM 120 is a modified F 14A
I wonder how gaijin is going to respond to this if at all.
This could go anywhere from no answer to a response like with the free abrahams outcry, where we got one for free when purchasing a certain amout of GE+ a tt version+ one that can carry AIM 120 in some way or from.

Russia has 2 Squadron Planes at this rank so it would not be unthinkable.
