Not even AIM-7P’s which the F-14D has the datalink to fully utilize. Do these devs seriously think the AIM-54 is an actual threat? The devblog also mentions that the F-14 has “strong flight performance” and I refuse to believe anyone who has actually played the plane and seen how terrible it handles at high alt/high speed would say this.

Wait… So no Aim9Ms, no Aim7Ps, no AMRAAMs, no better C+ phoenixes at what i can only expect will arrive at 13.0…
So you guys want to tell us that you took F14B, added just a better radar and slapped a 70 euro sticker on it? Is this really it?
It going to still suffer from the exact problems that F14B suffers at 13.0, with extremely mediocre missiles on a missile truck facing things like F15Cs/Su27SM/30MK2s…
I dont know who is in charge of the premium vehicle distribution in this update but we got:
Ultra mediocre Puma VJTF with palettes stapled to it.
Ultra mediocre M60 Predator which is just worthless.
Ultra mediocre F14B with better radar and nothing else.
Were really scraping the bottom of the barrel with this one
At the same time, FA18C Early is at lower BR, lacks ARH but has 7Ps, has better ground ordinance (mavericks but its still better than JDAMs or Paveways), is better to fly, has better RWR detecting even pantsir launches… only thing its worse at is CM count.
Why even call it F14D, just rename it to F14B Deluxe because this thing is genuinely worthless

F-15A with 4x AIM-9M, 4x AIM-7M, actually insane flight performance and an all aspect PD radar: 12.7
F-14B with 2x AIM-9L, 6x AIM-7M, objectively bad flight performance and a HPRF/head-on only PD radar: 13.0
Same thing reskinned (F-14D): 13.0

Lol, lmao even. Hey Gaijin,FYI: the AIM-9L was being phased out in 1990 since the 9M was into production,meaning both the F-14B and F-14D carried mainly AIM-9Ms
The F-14B we have in game is a Frankensteined version that has late 90s/early 2000 ground ordnance but is stuck with a 1970s IR missiles. So how about you start changing this?

So “best version is premium” is going to be the standard going forward then? You had both the A and B (upgrade)s with the same weapons and avionics as the D, but the old engines that could have been added as the premium while the F-14D was tech tree, but nope gotta squeeze every last penny out of the player base.

Thats if it is 13.0 it could be 13.3 same BR as the Su-30S with full aspect PD and R-73s PL-8s R-77s and PL-12 which are all much better then what the tomcat gets
