Well it is still their game they are developing.
They would have to, if they had a rule for that.
But Loadouts were always kinda balancing oriented.

both of the other F 14 varants still have outdated AAM for their Date of introduvtion until this very day.
They should though imo.
Make this thing special and give us an upgraded version of the current premium version as a tech tree alternative.
Idc if there is a premium F 14 D or F 14 A slinging AIM 120 at 13.3 or 13.0.

Yeah. I’ve already advised my friends who play against both this and the current turkish sale, given the F-104 ASA is an overtiered mess and the T-129 ATAK is missing its IR missiles and in a terrible spot in the current meta…
The problem is that they carried those variants. 14D didn’t. Those variants didn’t even existed for it. Especially about 54s and 7s.
I didn’t even talk about 9Ls , because ok, they could have in stocks at that time so yes it is backwards compatible from M…
The others didn’t exist. 7s and 54s were upgraded. Imagine at that point most planes were introducing 120A. Whatever M they had they sold it or offering it on sales or was already upgraded. And especially 54s which were only for 14s were all upraded, 14D never saw the original C or even C+. By its time it was only 54C ECCM sealed. Very different thing than GJ did with the other planes, if anything yak 141 shouldn’t even be in the game.
MiG 29s problem was that it couldn’t have 27ERs because of the radar…later versions could, but not the older ones.
It’s not that they couldn’t carry R-60s.
They supposed to balance AIM-7F/M with the 27ER, but it was because back there they got wrong the 27R , which now is ok and pretty much equivalent if not better in some points. But even when they fixed 27R they didn’t took 27Er back and they didn’t gave R-73 because it would be OP (meanwhile R-27ER is more OP… especially at those BRs) .
Ok is their game… they can make it garbage, and i can NOT buy and inform people that what they sell is wrong as configuration. Whoever wants can still buy ofc, but people that want some originality and uniqueness especially on a premium and that plane could offer that i feel like i should tell them the plane is NOT correct in armament (not telling lies here) and even it’s FM is wrong (should be faster at least) and even 54 missiles are not well implemented in general , when they AZZPULL things like F90 with little to none valid and legit data behind the implementation…
I don’t do anything wrong. GJ makes things crap when they can fix them, you know…

Please gaijin give it it’s historical load out and give us a tech tree version as well. Give the premium a cool camo, and standard aim54Cs and give the tech tree version the 54C+ to make a difference. Both should have the 7P and the 9M missiles.

to be fair, did the Yak-41 ever carry any missiles at all? pretty sure the only time it ever flew was just to test the airframe, mechanization and propulsion.
while the MiG-29 was built to use the R-73, the R-60 technically was used on it as a stopgap before the R-73 was fully delivered. doesn’t excuse nerfing the MiG-29 flightmodel into oblivion and sticking it with 4 missiles that only barely suffice at 11.0 and two R-27s as your primary weapons.

the damage model is fine, what you’re describing is the XRAY view not matching with the physical model. this doesn’t affect gameplay, if you shoot the wings where XRAY view says they are when your wings are swept, nothing happens. if you shoot the actual wing, it gets damaged and the XRAY view reflects that damage.
Actually it’s been proven to dmg where the xray is at

even if true, it’s not that big of a deal.
if you get hit with a missile, you’re going to die anyways.
if you get close enough to someone for them to start shooting you with their gun, you’ve already made multiple mistakes, and you’re not winning that dogfight unless your enemy is flying any 3rd gen or the MiG-29, both of which you will not often get a gunfight with.
and even when you are gunfighting, your wings should be unswept, so that issue practically doesn’t even exist with all factors combined.
It is a big deal as missiles proxy can dmg it or a Random bullet straf from enemies or it can hit a object when it shouldn’t

if a missile hits you, you’re not going to survive anyways. i’d be more worried about dodging or spoofing the boomstick hauling ass toward me rather than be worried about whether or not the incorrect hitbox is going to screw me or not.
Key word IF it hits you directly I’ve had multiple missiles proxy near me and do dmg

Tell that to my wing when I “hit” a tree with my wings “swept”. It needs to be fixed, for all “swept” wing aircraft in the game.
