I hope Gaijin gives the 14D the C+ Phoenix with the Mk. 60 booster in the dev.

well until you can find the exact specs on it in two different documents it gets closed has not a bug

The D(R) are just F-14D’s that were rebuilt from older F-14A frames. Of the 55 14Ds, 18 were rebuilt 14A’s, but the performance was the same from the new build 14D’s for the most part.

Should have just made the F-14A (late) the premium and given it 9Ls and 54As, while making this tech tree. But I guess money rules.

If that were the case I believe they’d make more dough if they shipped the F-14D with an actually upgraded loadout from F-14B. I don’t get why they’re not doing that

I am not one to complain, I genuinely love and enjoy this game for about the last 10 years, but Grom… you can tell something about this jets’ implementation is a slap in the face of the community.
And it’s not me saying it. It’s the whole forum’s response, speaking out and frankly reaching out about their concerns.
The $80 premium is only a certain percentage of the problem. Most, including myself were already expecting that and I personally have no issues with it
But I can tell you it is most certainly it having the exact same missile load out as the F-14B makes it almost offensive to your player base
Aim9m’s and Aim7P’s are the bare minimum for a jet that flew in the years it did and no “it may face higher rank opponents” is not an excuse, stats will put it at the right BR.
It is only right (given the communities response) for the most advanced Tomcat to not be neutered in this way. Forget aim120s that was a hopefully wish, but no 9M’s after you know even the 14B deserves them is just laughing at the player base
Also I know some are poking fun at the advanced HUD but it’s only the dev server, I do believe that will be fixed

This is quite possibly the biggest mistake gaijin has made introducing an aircraft into this game.
The F-14D was so awaited among players and they
absolutely botch it by giving it no AIM-9Ms and no AIM-7Ps.
Like what? What’s the point of adding this in the first place if it’s not an upgrade compared to the F-14B?

Ehhhh, I still say it being the last production variant of the F-14 and being a premium is still majorly problematic. Same as the F-4S and A-1H… Someone needs to reel in Gaijin’s monetization department, they’ve gone off the deep end.
We need to pressure Gaijin into at bare minimum giving us the F-14D(R) (With 9M, 7P, 54C+) as a TT vehicle this update and no later.
