If you purchase pack with new vehicle, introduced in Major Update, during first two weeks (counted from Major Update launch), your purchase is considered as Pre-Order and you will get bonuses.

Should I preorder the Gneisenau or not? What do you think? What reload rate does it have on testserver?

you get virtually nothing worthwhile for preordering, might as well wait until after the patch drops and see what the MM looks like before you blow 80$/€ on it

Thats true. Better wait for the final BR and whether the three top dogs (Soyuz omg, Yamato and Iowa) get a high enough BR to seperate them from the rest. Would have been better if Gajin waited some patch cycles to introduce the super BBs. To let other BBs shine first.
Same as Bismark currently but should be 60 to 70 seconds

Has anyone tried Gneisenau on the Dev server? If so, how is she?
Am on the fence on buying Gneisenau too…need a grinder for the last rank in German TT, but its a lot of money…how does it fare on the dev server ?
Theoretically the upgunned Gneisenau could be better than Bismarck, thx to the armor layout. We have to wait how it turns out @ live.

Right now RoF is high as Bismarck’s, isn’t it? You have one turret less, but for this you enjoy the sophisticated armor layout of the Scharnhorst class.

Yea currently it’s the same as Bismarcks I don’t really expect that to change but we will have to see. Even if I or someone else bug reports it to 70 seconds gaijin may simply ignore it. If they say it’s a balance decision then people will start asking questions about the balance of the US standards and Roma so their only option is to ignore it.
For now I’d enjoy it and I personally cannot see the report being resolved any time soon
In what areas is Gneisenau (and Scharnhorst) armor better than Bismarck’?
Hey everyone, so I was test driving the Gneisenau in the dev server, and I was wondering why it had such a short reload (roughly 30 seconds I don’t quite remember), I was wondering this because I thought it would have had a much longer reload? I remember reading something about how it wouldn’t have had any powered reloading so it’s reload would be 60 - 70 seconds. Can someone explain to me? Has this already been changed? Or am I just being silly?
