yeah obviously it matters when talking about strenghts and weaknesses but i dont need multination experience to understand the statistics and that a big difference in average player skill for the 2 most played nations is highly unlikely

It’s very easy to overextend and crest a hill just to get enough gun depression in order to shoot someone. This means you’ll have spots that simply don’t work with your tanks, so you working around that is a must.
New players will overexpose and be caught in the open as they have no idea what they’re doing.
I don’t think any nation has on average better or worse player.
This is an English speaking forum, and its not hard to see most people here play US as their main tree. And its not really something you can expect everyone to have multiple trees ground out past ww2 BRs, taken me thousands of hours just to finish Russia/German air and ground, and I’m just now finishing Russia, 2 tanks left, + spading and playing some I have unlocked. So its hard for most people to actually get multiple perspectives on trees. Actually hard is a too soft a word its pretty much impossible to expect your average player to.
The war has done nothing but pump insane amounts of anti Russian propaganda everywhere in the west, and add that on top of Americans generally being very proud and pumped up about their military and its a recipe for what these forums are, 80% US mains complaining about Russia or their own vehicles. Its rare to see Germans complaining besides what 2 threads recently about their ww2 planes being overtiered, and a single thread about leo not being able to depress behind. I don’t think I’ve seen any threads in weeks complaining about russia tanks in terms of them being underpowered etc., just having to defend them in the countless threads complaining about them or nato tanks.

Don’t get mad because I’ve listed crippling flaws of something. Falling back to 38MT in a discussion about tank rounds just means you have nothing else to say about it.

What Russia lacks is gun depression,reload,transmission which all of these flaws are exactly how they’re in real life but if Gaijin decides to buff these things to be on par with NATO’s tanks capabilities in those categories then they’re definitely going to be better than B+,2a7 but when they lack those things they outshine them by having better CAS,better SPAA,better Helicopters.
ERA is part of the Russian armor, they literally stick ERA all over the tank which makes it part of the tank, find me a Russian heavy tank without ERA in a battlefield.

No shit, but the Abrams and Ariete, Merkavas,Challengers got huge weakspots unlike most tanks which makes them easy to lolpen.
Russia most of the time fights against Clickbaits,Type 90’s, these nations are easy to disable-kill, so it’s not very hard to aim for weakspots when the whole tank is made from plastic.
Most Top Tier tanks can be killed-disabled using 3bm42, so the idea of a better shell to Russia is a dumb one.
That’s the problem, Abrams having a huge weakspot and people still say that “Muh The tank is fine its the players fault” shows the amount of hipocrisy in this forum.
It’s the best SPAA in the game out of all nations.
Not in the terms of range and NATO’s capabilities are still outdated and old compared to Russia’s KH38MT.
Also a good Pantsir player is till capable enough to defend the whole team from CAS,ex: Hellfires(slow),Mavericks(Slow),AASM(Slow)…etc
It’s a hard counter to NATO cas which lacks its original capabilities and again a capable Pantsir player would intercept every incoming threat.
Are there any credible sources confirming that the T-14 is actually as advanced as advertised? I’m pretty skeptical of Russian reports, especially when so much effort and funding is going into upgrading old tanks like the T-80 with new gearboxes and electronics.
Either the game turns into a fantasyland where everything is artificially balanced, but I doubt Gaijin is going down that road. The bigger issue is how Gaijin “balances” by quietly sidelining certain nations’ vehicles while heavily favoring others.
At the end of the day, maybe the most realistic part of War Thunder is that politics and PR still matter more than specs on paper… xD

If they truly weren’t idiots you wouldn’t see a 1.22 KD on the T-90M and a 1.3 on the T-80BVM as an average. Instead you’d see numbers around the 1.1 range. You also wouldn’t have problems facing them if they were idiots? Do you see people complaining about the Abrams when it is superior to the likes of Russian vehicles? No, you don’t, because the average Abrams player doesn’t know how to play the game.
That is true, the T-80 is more noob friendly, however it is a combination of that and Abrams players being more dumb than T-80 ones.
