What ever is realistic is fine.
48 CMs can’t even stable dodged a R27ER. Change to 96 smaller CMs with single shot is fine, while ECM Pods introduced, the CMs could change back
Currently, the WS10B in the dev is performing weakly, which will directly impact all Chinese 4 gen fighters, making it difficult for them to play an effective role in top br—whether it’s the lighter J15T with only 48 cms, or the heavier J16 equipped with more cms
I would do what was done with the F-18 lates and double the CM count. Sure it’s ahistorical, but it can be set back to 48 once ECM gets added. As it stands currently, however, this thing will be extremely difficult/near impossible to use against the MICA.
for some reason mods thought this was a abusive statement no clue why tho
Spoiler
well its either give it more countermeasures or make it 14.0 its not first time gaijin has artificially buffed stuff anyway for balance reasons this isnt new look at the mig 23 orginally its RWR couldnt pick up PD radars then sim players complained and they changed it
Honestly whatever is needed to make the J15 usable in top tier is fine. I’m pretty sure flare pods exist in the Chinese Military, just use the “muh compatibility” standard and call it good.
The lack of CMs while having MAW is going to be a major pain in the backside.
however, its still a SU-33. the SU30 family does incredibly well and gaijin is very favourable to chinese missiles compared to whatever the hell they are doing to ruin the 120D like they ruined 120C5.
Its going to be hard locked to BVR and anyone that doesnt know how to properly notch will be filtered fast.
even with just basic PL12 the main issue of missing ECM pods will be prevalent, not fixing the concern at all
chill gang, there still time for a changes. lets hope for the best
Gaijin has alreaddy decided that its as agile as a C5 so its going to be a rough one for the superbug
nope
Su-33 exists
it definetly dusent have less flares than it
imma blow your mind the J15 is a SU33 and both have same amount of countermeasures
J15 was reverse engineered off a old SU33 proto called the,
T-10K-3
Spoiler
In 2001, the T-10K-3, an unfinished prototype of the Su-33,[7] was acquired by SAC from Ukraine[8] and is claimed to have been studied extensively and reverse-engineered, with development on the J-15 beginning immediately afterward.[9][10]
China had sought to purchase Su-33s from Russia on several occasions—an unsuccessful offer was made as late as March 2009[11]—but negotiations collapsed in 2006 after it was discovered that China had developed a modified version[12][13][14] of the Sukhoi Su-27SK, designated the Shenyang J-11B,[15][16] in violation of intellectual property agreements.
it cant bvr , in BVR you need chaff to notch youll run out fast you would be better off low multipathing
it be better if they just gave it extra flares of the J11B 96 as the J15 relys entirely on EW for defense so this would just be compenstation for that until they add EW into the game
supposedly it got a buff recently
I believe that with reasonable adjustments, the J-15T can meet the relevant requirements. I have the following suggestions:
Taking the latest data from Test Server .21 on March 3 and the flight envelope of the WS-10B engine as an example, the engine’s ram thrust coefficient is lower than that of the WS-10A at all altitude ranges. This results in a significant difference in the growth rate of the thrust curve compared with the WS-10A.I sincerely hope the game developers will check the relevant coefficients and adjust the thrust curve reasonably.Currently, in top-tier fighter matches, the J-15T already ranks last in acceleration at high altitude and high speed, and I hope this issue can be taken seriously.
Take an altitude of 7,000 meters as an example:
-
At 0 km/h:Dual WS-10B thrust: 11,750 kgfDual WS-10A thrust: 10,447 kgfThrust difference: 1,303 kgf
-
At 400 km/h:Dual WS-10B thrust: 11,915 kgfDual WS-10A thrust: 10,968 kgfThrust difference: 947 kgf
The dual WS-10B gains 165 kgf of thrust from the ram effect at this speed range, while the dual WS-10A gains 521 kgf from the ram effect.Despite having higher static thrust and more advanced technology, the WS-10B even has lower ram efficiency than its predecessor, the WS-10A.
This may seem insignificant, but the gap will be further widened at higher speeds, even in the supersonic range, resulting in only a small improvement of the WS-10B over the WS-10A at high altitude and high speed.
According to the developers’ usual practice, thrust curves are usually made by scaling up the previous model proportionally based on the static thrust shown in the in-game stats panel. In other words, the thrust curve coefficients of the WS-10B should be consistent with those of the existing WS-10A in the game at all altitudes and speeds. However, in the latest test server, the coefficient of the WS-10B is significantly lower than that of the WS-10A, leading to insufficient thrust at high altitude and high speed.
At present, the climb and acceleration performance of the J-15T in these altitude and speed ranges is far below the average level of top-tier aircraft.I sincerely hope the game developers will attach importance to this issue.
At 7,000 meters, it is clear from the curve that the gap between the two is narrowest at 400 km/h. This lower ram ratio will carry over to higher speeds, making the actual performance improvement of the WS‑10B disproportionate to its static thrust increase,This problem is equally obvious at other altitudes and speeds.
and iam gonna blow your mind the J-15T dosent have less countermeasures than the Su-33 because of that reason
i didnt say it has Less there on same level except ones 13.0 and ones 14.7 obviously struggling far more SU33 is a TOP 5 of its br
you did
last time i checked the su33 is also a flanker
and if the J15 has the lowest CM count of any flanker then it also means it has less than the Su33
again they are same plane its COPY 1 for 1 so obviously they both share the lowest CM spot ?
sure go 8nto the sino flanker thread and say that the su33 and j15 are the same plane 1:1
i wish you good luck
quite literally same airframe just modified like saying the J11B and SU 27SM are unrelated they share same airframe one is just modified differently
its still a SU33 just modified its a variant
