He’s largely responsible for the changes. He posted about them and advocated for them on the Russian forums, ran polls (even though he claims polls aren’t really representative of what players want), and criticized people who were against the change on those forums. Of course, he’s going to defend them here.
Honestly he needs to realise his idea should go back to a mobile game where it belongs
wow. What a massive fahkup.
@Kweedko Hey dude. Look, you got to try out your idea. It didn’t work. People have largely come out against it. There are several very good reasons on why no one likes it. Please help us unscrew this since you apparently had some say in it. There’s no shame in realizing something was a mistake. We can take some of the good ideas and apply them, but lets get some stronger community feedback first.
NO ONE plays War Thunder to point and click. We literally ban thousands of those people every few months. This is a game of skill. No one respects gameplay or players that just point and click.
Let’s bring back Naval to a playable state.
That’s ain’t a suggestion just a poll, suggestions go to suggestion section.
Why should i, i like this mess(bugs will eventually will be fixed), have no problem to adapt to this system. If you want something to change make a suggestion I’ll come to vote and discuss if it interests me.
ok bro. We’ll try to fix it.
No, it is still locked at 1m unfortunately. I was hoping the new hydrostatic shock would allow them to do damage below the armour belt with the added shockwave, but the belt still eats the entire blast.
Who are you that you have so much influence on changes to Naval Battles? I don’t see that you’re a GJ employee.
I have no influence except patience and insistency. Like now, lots of my bugreposts stuck in “nowhere” status with unreasonable demands of .clogs and I’m trying to find a responsible staff member to push them to the devs. Community Bug Reporting System
You can read what’s happening here What’s happening with the bugtracker? With clarification - #2
Between this and a lack of comments from community managers, it really feels like this is intentional silence, like Gaijin are actively working to shut down discussion about Naval.
Or just shut down naval entirely. If they screw it up enough that nobody plays, they can claim there aren’t enough players to support keeping the servers running.
Sure 5800+ gameplay sessions in NAB from 8 April to 25 March which is replays service shows, is nobody plays.
Regarding .clogs,
you can generate a .clog by closing the game after doing things regardless of entering a live match or not, far as I was made to understand.
I’ve submitted .clogs solely in test flight to accompany my reports about broken HUD textures when zooming out in the cockpit.
What do you mean “closing the game”? I don’t see any .clogs besides the one that crated after match.
Looked closely. Oh now i see, they created after closing game client session, after exiting the game. And non of the staff member remember me that they work like this.
Bug report managers are frustratingly non-communicative even when you put in a genuine, honest effort and use industry standards (steal random open source project’s github issues layout) for formatting your report.
Added .clogs but i don’t think anyone can get anything from them, it’s not “client crash” kind of problems. And they will still need to reproduce them to figure out if they fixed or not with changes.
I said “if.” I know English isn’t your first language, so I’ll forgive you. What were the numbers for same number of days pre-patch?
Just the same but with less players in battles, plus you .
Would you care to post them? The only number I can find is by using the replay search feature, which doesn’t show that total number of replays. I can’t even search by date. What tool are you using?
I guess a lot of us are going to have to be patient and insistent in return! Like continuing to discuss and inform about our dissatisfaction in this forum, while ignoring be gaslit into believing there is no actual issue, or that new Naval Arcade Aiming isn’t absolute garbage.
Spoiler: It is.
