Unless I missed something in reading, I believe the Blog says the UK one is block 2, and that’s where they ended it’s naming.
There’s ordnance that —allegedly— the F/A-18F is able to use whereas the E can’t.
Plus, the 18F is getting a combined CFT/IRST pod named AN/ASG-34.
The 18E is getting it as well this update.
Did they say if it was a visual placeholder or actually going to be functioning this update?

Currently it is a placeholder on the 18F. Should be coming to the 18E later on.
Now what? Would we get it or not?

Well since there aren’t any documents that need to be proven, a lot of the what is about exposure to the issue and enough people to get it moved
It is so disappointing in a military game like this, that the actual operator the f18F originally is not included in the representation of the vehicle, capability differences or not, to introduce a new version and then gate keep it. And now to see it in game, not where it came from, is incredibly frustrating.
I remember BVVD himself said that if a vehicle can be added to other tree, it would also be added to those tree. Love to see gaijin go back on its own words

Exactly and theyve used this concept to add F16s, F15s, SUs (J series), Gripen, etc. But this is where they draw the line. Literally the BEST looking f18

A dumb question, and I see that smin replied to part of your argument, but would this be evidence to bring backup to nudge the F towards the US, or is continuing that argument for the sake of the F model not worth it?
It’s probably not entirely worth it(might be a nice Squadron, Event, Gift, or Premium option when the inevitable “Rank X” appears with 5th gens), but at least should be used for any stores and assorted features that are present on one, but not the other.
So depends entirely on Gaijin to model any specific configuration faithfully(they won’t mange to do so, considering the sheer quantity of issues).
I think gaijin deserves all the hate they can get but in this specific instance you are kinda misinterpreting what was said.
What BVVD said was in relation to adding vehicles like M44 or M55 to all TTs that operated it.
No TT at time had M55 so adding it brought something new (203mm SPH) to each TT even if the vehicle itself was copypaste.
With 18F its different since theres no practical difference in capability to 18E.

Not according to the tech-mods, so there would be a reason to add it since F/A-18E’s would apparently have different stores.

+1000 for add in US tree !! It’s a best seller US aircraft.
Perhaps Gajins could create a space with non-premium, pay-per-view aircraft at a lower price (30 - 40 bucks). This would allow collectors and enthusiasts to fly iconic planes.
