I think the JA37DI sets a clear precedent, the best version of a platform shouldn’t be premium exclusive. It only makes sense that the F-14D should have a TT variant as well.

@Stona_WT New MiG-21 in the French tree should be more of a premium than the F-14D… that MiG was a captured vehicle… the F-14D was built by the US and one of the most iconic Jets In US military history. The F-14D should absolutely be a tech tree Jet Period. We all shouldn’t even be discussing this topic. Should’ve been a tech tree vehicle from the beginning.

Devs think differently
He’s a dev for the store, we want an actual dev that’s directly involved with this decision to explain exactly what their reasoning is.
So far we’ve only had him saying the same 3 things and ignoring everyone’s questions.

The devs are being greedy. America is one of the most popular nations in the game, and the premiums in the U.S. tech tree generate a lot of money, and they know this. They won’t release a tech tree version alongside it because if they did, the F-14D premium wouldn’t make as much money. You’re quite dense, Cobra 73.

You do know he was wrong about what he said tech tree’s already have tech tree/premium/squadron vehicles counterparts so their no reason in not doing the same for the f14D(r) and f14D

guys, its sad to say, but Cummunity Managers alrady said that the F14D will stay a premnium pack, and it will not be changed.
This topic isn’t intended to change the premium F-14D to something else or like that.
We are asking for additional F-14D.

There are more things to just being a store manager, but again monday we should get clear feedback on why this vehicle is being crippled and excluded from the tech tree
F-14D(R) would work just fine.
This is what I thought they would do in the first place, have the F-14D and F-14D(R) so one can be a premium and the other in the TT. It was a reasonable thing to believe they would do but Gaijin being Gaijin they can always find new ways to disappoint.
