As NATO members, each of these countries has a unique military history and distinct defense traditions, which shape the structure and composition of their armies. The technology tree highlights the gradual progression of military equipment, such as tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, and air defense systems, illustrating both modernization efforts and historical phases of weaponry deployment. Comparing the ground forces of these three neighboring nations reveals similarities stemming from shared political alliances, as well as differences that reflect local defense needs, defense industries, and international cooperation.
