PLZ05 vs Sholef, Completely outmached yet 0.4 br higher

To be honest, M109 plays so much better at 7.3 than Sholef on it’s own BR. For now this is just RP and SL pinata for enemies. Sholef should be fixed and have it’s real capabilities, in addition it’s rank should be increased because of that.

I agree but I doubt it will happen unfortunately

And 15 tons of air, ability to manually reload when the auto loader is out, and a stabilizer.

Did you literally not read what I wrote?? It never had a stabilizer

smh my head!!

No one describes a SPH as having “fire on the move capability” unless it’s stabilized. I personally believe it did have such a feature.

Bro did the spiderverse ATM machine meme

I have watched its demonstration videos and other footage and I have not once seen its gun be stabilized

And that’s in fact really sad. Also knowing how much minor nation vehicles were fixed by player reports, becomes even more sad.

Sholef must get STAB, LRF, some shells it’s missing yet, the 62.7 targeting speed, the real 1200 hp engine, the 6.67 sec reload, the real FCS, the real better armor, probably a .50 cal and also of course the real +60 - (-26.3) kph transmition. Also we need Sholef V2 for TT at 8.3 (without APFSDS) or 9.0 (with APFSDS).

Unfortunately neither the V1 or V2 ever used a 1200hp engine.

There was never any APFSDS available for the Sholef.

Did not have one

Rocket assisted shells yeah

Did not have a 62.7 degree/sec targeting speed

V1 did not have a 1200HP engine

We do not have exact info on that yet

No it has the correct transmission in game

There was a rumor but nothing confirmed

The FCS is the same as Merkava Mk.3s, and according to Jane’s (which ofc is a secondary sources and has inaccurate info, so take it as you will), it used the same turret drive as the Mk.3 (which yielded a 32-34 degree/s horizontal traverse rate on this heavier turret). Given the lower weight of the turret, it should technically have a higher turret traverse rate horizontally and vertically. Ofekk did some quick math and was able to estimate the ~60.0 degrees per second horizontal traverse figure that he stated.

Quick edit: I believe the Baz FCS is only found on the V2, meaning a high turret traverse rate for the V2 only if I remember correctly, not the V1.

There is no direct evidence of this. For all we know it might have been a Mk1 turret drive since there were barely no modifications to the hull

No it is not

No, the motors have specific gearing so unless that was changed, the speed would have been the same if not just had minor improvements of just a few degrees

Just edited it as you posted that lol, sorry I got confused between the V1/2. However I highly doubt the current traverse speeds are correct. Currently the turret turns extremely slowly, almost as if it’s hand cranked lmao. It may be a large turret, but it’s far lighter than that of the Mk.1/2 or 3 turrets.

Dont forget about the intertia of the very heavy and long gun though. However the horizontal traverse should at least be the same if not slightly higher than the Mk1

That would honestly be a decent amount of traverse I could live with for the V1. Not bad, but just decent enough to get the job done.

Roumor turned out to be false.

Both horizontal and vertical traverses need a buff on the Sholef as IRL it was designed to fire on the move. I doubt it could do that with then being this slow.
