I agree, it should be removed and the spawn points should have infinite rearmament zones instead.
Only a single reload is not enough anymore when aircraft like the Gripen E can carry 22 missiles total and something like the BUK only has 24 missiles total with the ammo box
I’m saying, putting airfield even more far back would basically make rearming at airfield useless. Games already end so fast so your suggestion would mean that by the time you rearm and fly back the game would be over.
So you are proving my point why we need more missiles then, oversaturation and dealing with the planes will take many shots.
And come on, spice 250 its damn small bombs, just hide behind a building or smoke, they are slow as fck. meanwhile kh38 its faster and even if you hide you will get splash killed.
Finally intercepting KH-38 its not that easy, many of times your missiles will fail to intercept it, thats why you see spaa still dying to it
The HQ-11 and the CS/SA5 have 8 missiles, as a CAS players myself you’re insane if you think ammo boxes are a bad thing, if anything AA doesn’t get enough of them
Most stupid idea ever, The SU-30SM can fly up drop the KH38MTs, and land before anyone can shoot them down. Or any helo with an IR missile can just fly up, launch and land. Talk about no fun, I hate getting spawned killed and cant do anything. At least top tier AA can destroy missiles. If they take away the ammo box, they should take away the ammo for planes too.
Well a whole battery is not stimulated in the game, but if you want realismlets take awcs removebnotch multipathing and ballistic missiles (artillery, saboteurs) would have killed your airport that is 15km away
