I have repeatedly tried to suggest these changes individually, but its really hard to convey the problem properly and no changes have occurred in the past year or 2 of reporting it, so im going to try a different format for it
Gamemode: Air Simulator
Aircraft affected: Hawker Hunters
Issue: The battle-ratings within Air Simulator are a total mess currently for the Hawker Hunters and they don’t make any sense, with factually weaker aircraft at higher battle-ratings compared to stronger ones, and aircraft that are notably different in performance at the same battle-rating. So I’m suggesting a fundamental rework of all their BRs.

Dogtooth wing: This is a revised leading edge design for the wing and notably improves the flight performance of the Hunter
As you can see, the Dutch F6 is notably stronger than the J-34 and Hunter F1 and yet is at 9.0.
The Swiss Hunter F58 is notably stronger than the FGA9, 1971 and arguably even the British F6 and yet they are all the same BR.

The F1’s total lack of missiles means it is entirely reliant on its gun, and its flight performance is not unreasonable when compared to aircraft such as the Mig-15BIS or even the Scimitar F Mk1.
The J-34 has a similar flight model, but does gain 2x Aim-9Bs which are a lot more capable in Air Sim as you can ambush players.
The Dutch F6 is tricky to place. It does not get the Aim-9Es that the FGA9 and F58 (1971) have, but does have a far more similar Flight performance. Making it much stronger than the J-34 in a gunfight, but weaker in terms of missiles to the F58 (1971) and FGA9. What is ultimately needed here is a decompression, but either BR of 9.0 if missile performance is considered most important or 9.3 if flight performance is considered most important. With the other changes proposed either option would be fairer than what is currently in-game. I personally lean towards it being 9.3, as it is still largely going to be reliant upon gunfighting, but I can see arguments for either BR.
The F58 and British F6 are both notably stronger than the FGA9 and F58 (1971) in their own respects. SRAAMs are a lot more effective in Air Sim, due to the supersonics being a higher BR, the amount of flare equipped aircraft being reduced, and the ability to get the drop on enemy aircraft unaware and the F58 has more capable missiles than Aim-9E, and also gains countermeasures and an RWR, making it defensively far stronger. Whilst in an ideal world, these 2 would not sit at the same BR, compression is a major issue, and I don’t think the F58 would perform well against any of the aircraft that currently reside at 10.0.
There is also wide difference in terms of Air-to-Ground performance as well, and whilst I don’t think it is worth mentioning in terms of battle-rating, these proposed changes would also help mitigate those differences as well
These changes would give a meaningful reason to play the various different Hawker Hunters, depending on the current rotation, at the moment, I see little reason to bring the FGA9 over the F6, or the F58 (1971) over the F58, as they are all the same BRs. and issues such as the J-34 and Dutch F6 really really shouldn’t exist at all.
