Planned Battle Rating Changes (January 2026)

On par with anything else at that BR

Better than multiple 12.3/12.7 shells.

So its better than more than a few top tier tanks in 2/3 of the main categories and as for survivability, outperforms more than a few in that regard too

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: SKR-1

Change: 4.3 → 4.7

Reasoning: Overperforming with rapid-firing 76mm guns and versatile secondary armament. If Köln and Lübeck are raised, SKR-1 should be as well, to avoid unfair matchups against weaker vessels.

If the early F-15s are going down to 12.7 either remove their 9Ms or give R73s to MiG-29s/move them down to 12.3, and make the 29G 12.7

Flakpanzer 341

Ground RB 7.0 → 9.0

It has almost 90mm of pen on its APHE, is the strongest tank destroyer AA by far and yet it doesn’t move

They should have moved golden eagle up and F-18E at 14.3

T-80UD
Ground RB
10.3 → 10.7

It is way too powerful at 10.3, it is essentially a T-80U with slightly weaker front armor and less mobility, or a T-80B with slightly stronger frontal armor and less mobility. Compared to the Chinese T-80UD/DU1, the only real difference is the lack of thermals, which is a disadvantage but enough to justify the BR decrease. This should not be facing 9.3 tanks like the MBT-70, which it totally outclasses in all ways, and is without a shadow of a doubt superior to contemporary MBTs at 10.3 like the ZTZ96A or T-72B. With the recent reload buff this change is further justified.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: Fairmile H LCS(L)(2)

Change: 2.3 → 2.0 (Best if at 1.7)

Reasoning: Extremely slow and fragile, with a weak 57mm gun with a slow rate of fire and a highly vulnerable ammo rack in the bow.

Mode: Naval AB & RB

Vessel: HMS Liscomb

Changes:

  • AB: 2.0 → 2.7
  • RB: 2.3 → 2.7

Reasoning: With a detailed damage model, Liscomb is now much tougher and performs far above its current BR.

both at 8.0

QN-506
Ground RB
10.0 → 9.7
Reclassify from Light Tank to Tank Destroyer, similar to the BMPTs

Compared to other vehicles with Fire-and-Forget missiles, the QN-506 is sorely lacking in one major feature: mobility. The QN502 missiles are extremely unreliable at killing enemy ground vehicles in most situations on most maps, and are best used as an anti-helicopter weapon, while the QN201 missiles are utterly useless despite their stated penetration. Vehicles like the Freccia and KF41, while not exactly great, can compensate for this with good mobility to complement their autocannon, but the QN506 simply cannot.

At 12.0, the M1A1 is probably the most useless tank for the USA due to having M829A1 instead of A2, worse armour than the other Abrams at that br, and/or worse thermals. Abrams lines really need a whole rejigging, including moving to line 2, but that’s for another day

Panther II

Ground RB 7.0 → 7.3

It’s a huge upgrade over the T-44-100 yet somehow sits at the same BR

I’d bet on 2.0, I found it to be a little bit more sturdy than the surrounding Fairmile D and C

I have a feeling that It will soon be 14.7 worthy dw :)

F-104S 11.0 → 10.3, Removal of AIM-9J and Counteremeasures

The F-104S never historically had AIM-9Js or countermeasures in Italian service and is currently identical to the Turkish premium. Even though both of these were added a long time ago to help with balance, the F-104S has recieved massive FM nerfs which make it completely uncompetitive at 11.0.

Removing the AIM-9J and countermeasures would make it viable at 10.3 as an AIM-7E slinger, being able to actually use its speed advantage since it lacks turning capabilities.

Was it hard to get 2 kill

AF/A-18A Late (Great Britain/Australia):

Foldering the 14.0 AF/A-18A Late with the 12.3 F/A-18A Early so it is now ahead of the 13.0 Sea Harrier FA.2 in such a way that the late Hornet loses its end-of-line bonus, seems a bit malicious.
It should not be done until the BR cap is raised to 15.0 in the British tree, or another aircraft with a BR 14.0 (or above) is introduced after the 13.0 Sea Harrier.

With regard to foldering Legacy Hornets: I can understand doing it for the US F/A-18C where they already have the F/A-18E supplanting it, so it’s not Top Tier in its line anyway. And you could even do it with two Finnish F/A-18Cs where both are 14.0 in the Swedish tree, and the original one would become end-of-line again in place of the current MLU2 being end-of-line. But Finland’s are staying un-foldered where the Australian ones aren’t in spite of a more significant BR gap, not only to the 12.3 Hornet but the 13.0 Sea Harrier it is currently positioned behind.

Foldering the Australian Hornets really has a negative impact on researching the British tree that no other tree experiences with these changes. Even giving it the AIM-132s ASRAAMs it uses in real life and a BR increase to put it in Rank 9 in spite of the airframe’s performance, feels less damaging.
