Wait who is actually penning the mantlet, i swear that only works maybe 1/10 rounds for me lol, i always just go hull corner bottom plate or turret cheek. Mantlet is far too risky imo.
They can bounce a lot of things.
The T26E5 can reliably bounce 128mm German cannons

It’s still absolutely insane to me that the Freccia is a lower BR than both Namers when it’s better in every conceivable way.
Better firerate, comparable penetration, 6 more spikes than the Namers (10 total), significantly faster, etc.
I understand that the Namer is intended to be a heavy IFV, unlike the Freccia, but the Namer isn’t durable at all, with an 11.3 battle rating. It’s essentially a heavy tank placed at a BR where everything lolpens it.

It has less pen than other auto cannons, but makes up with fire rate, and has speed, but trades it for lack of armor. It’s good as is, leave the poor Italians alone.
it was brilliant for a converted aviation engine. proved quite reliable and more than powerful enough. better than the V2 and HL230 in almost every single way

Tbf i was assuming you meant the whole turret would be immune to Tiger 2’s when i wrote about the Ho Ri, not just the Manlet.
I mean before that was the liberty which was pretty ok all things considered and everything prior was very much late 1920s engine tech. We started putting meteors into tanks pretty much as soon as we realised what a tank was again

Reason : Because its SPAA not a MBT or light tank on first line they have a task to cover sky not fight with other tanks for example on 8.0 is hard to find medium tank or light tank.
At least one good thing was about the Brit’s engines. They didn’t catch fire as often as the Germans lol.

Far worse, T-34 engine and transmission were nightmarish. Check some sources mate.
One of my primary squadmates is an Italian main I play alongside regularly at those tiers. Him and I regularly play the Namer and Freccia together, but I notice that he gets significantly more opportunities to kill at all ranges.
Sure, the Freccia has only 92mm of penetration, but the 30mm Bushmaster 2 only has 22mm of extra penetration and a firerate nearly 3 times lower. When playing on any map that isn’t Rhein, the Namer is left with only 4 missiles to kill targets at range, while the Freccia is not only able to get closer when needed, but also has 10 missiles to utilize. Spikes are known for their occasional issues, so having 2.5 times the amount a Namer gets is significant.
You have not played the Namer, but I have. The Spikes are the backbone of the Namer’s entire playstyle, and it has 4 of them. With the Freccia, you have more firepower and more options.
If you think the Freccia is weak, fine, but the Namer is significantly weaker in its current BR bracket.

Reasoning:
Worst 14.0 in the game, much more comparable to 13.7s. Horrendous stock grind, no hmd, no ground ordinance. The one right after is an upgrade in every way other than flight performance, which barely matters because you’re in a hornet anyways at damn 14.0. I stopped playing the f-18c, i just played one match in it to get to the late version, which is a godsent compared to the f-18c.
