F/A-18C Premium has Aim7P and Aim9L
Ja-37DI has Aim120s and Aim9L at 13.0
Su-27 well that’s an under tiered mess with 10 excellent missiles.
I’m happy to stay at 13.0 IF Gaijin acknowledges that the F-14 IRIAF can mount 6 Phoenix style missiles and we have visual evidence. Or they upgrade the missiles it can carry no jet with 10.7 level IR missiles should be facing near top tier opposition.
I also feel the game has changed in the year this thing was added and players know how to notch, it can be defeated by turning slightly and chaffing. It is also no use in close range and needs to be used in the 40km - 20km window.
I don’t want to kill jets with no RWRs. But I also do not see the point in making a jet unusable with it’s current BR putting it at top tier…I’m hoping when the BR changes come the F-14 will only have to deal with armies of Su-27s and not Rafales…Even then that’s a crappy fight
No clue how its been able to sit at 9.3 for so long. It may just be me being better at delta wings but i would say its a better dog fighter than the swiss hunter, along with more missiles makes it easy 10.0 material. This all not considering the combination of 0d and shafir 2s means its missiles suit is better as well as it has both options for long and short range.

Reasoning:
These vehicles are intended to have a counterweight against 13.0 CAS planes and are far too overpowered to fight 11.0/11.3 CAS planes / helicopter.
It’s the most complete picture we’ve gotten to date. And even outside of statistics the 2S38 is balanced at 10.3. I have no issue killing them and the only times I die to them are times I would have died anyway had it been any other tank. You literally have to click once with almost any tank at the BR and it explodes.
Can it? I’d love to see this visual evidence.
One F-14 airframe was mounted with the R-73, due to Iran preferring to use their limited stock of R27s and R73s on their MiG-29s. Maybe this would infer a further BR increase but I don’t think their implemenation would change too much.

Gaijin refuses to give the MiG-29As (bar the 29G) the R-73.
There are better armed planes at 13.0, with ARHs, but since you’re making the comparison, look at the poor SHar FA2.
I feel the RWR on the Su-27 is the reason it can’t move up, also with the top BR range being extremely compressed.
Ive flown all 3, the f100 is alot more fun than the others and the one ive flown is the french one with acces to only 9bs. The f100 would be fine at 9.7. They just need to move up most of the other 9.7s as they have no right being there (mig 21 sps k, T 2, Mig 21s, jag gr 1 and so on).
is the T-2 still 9.7? damn.
Anyway most of these you’ve named would be completely done at a higher BR.
Just decompress everything before moving planes to the BRs they really should be but can’t as of rn
I reckon the Harrier GR3 is a more compettive aircraft than the Jag GR1. I tried taking it out into ARB the other day and I barely hit Mach 0.97 ish with a full warload.
The cope coming from 2s38 players is hilarious honestly. Oh no, whatever shall i do when you move up my light tank that has an auto 57mm with aphe, apfsds, he-vt. Which also gets IRST to track planes while giving lead from further out than 2.5km (the sidam with irst cannot be given lead from further out than 2.5km). What should i do if i use up all of my 150 round first stage ammunition, oh wait it reloads quicker than a 35mm (type 89). Oh no, im not the fastest light tank at the br, but i am near the top of most tanks at the br.
Compare it to Begal, the begal is being moved up to 9.7 and will fair there just fine. It may even see 10.0 eventually. The 2s38 in comparison is the begal but better in pretty much every way, all its missing is some shoddy missile? And your telling me its not even a whole br step above it.

Can someone explain why PT-16/T14 is moving up again? The last Nerf was already doubtful,…. the tank had nothing to offer as it has mediocre ammo, no amor, no thermals,…
So, is it basically only for a bit faster reload? Also, is there a chance they at least will give it thermals and better ammo?
Does Gaijin only look at the stats of performance of this, to decide what they will do. Are they also reading this topic,…. or is it just a done deal and us commenting is just pointless??
AFK players will die to a 120 too, the point I make is yes Fakours are good but that’s it that’s the trick and when they are gone and you don’t hit anything you are dead. You have at most 40 chaff, which wont save you from Fox 3 spam and 20 Flares which might save you but with IRCCM and the insane heat the F-14 emits there are no guarantees.

I forgot to add the harrier, i just dont think missile on the calibre of the 9g should be bellow 10.0. Same with the r60. Its like how i think no all aspect (no matter the air frame) should be bellow 10.7. It stops them from seeing jets that simply cant compete with the missile without taking into consideration of the air frame. And at these brs the jets will still be able to manage a kill or two, but they usually are ground pounders with other jobs they can do.
The main problem we have in game is thats its too easy and enticing for fighters to take bombing targets for ground attackers. Its why i think they should decrease the reward per base but add more, along with more ai targets that are not just free kills. Something like an aaa battery that will shoot you down if you get close, but gives a decent amount of points after taking out all of them. Would be too much work for afk farmers so they can stick to the bases, leaving it for the a 10s and such.
Damn. Not opposed to it getting the extra pheonixes then, its not like running 6 of them is really feasible anyway…

Its is well-know that the f104 is poor at higher tiers especially at 12.0 with Aspide-1A missiles at that tier with 9Ls which doesn’t help. Continuing on to that you need to sacrifice your gun to use the radar missile. Compared the J8B which practically has the same kit with better maneuverability and at a lower BR
It’s an SPG with wings. You sling 4 F90, put your engine to 0 and engine break on and guide them until they’re on target and then head right back to the airfield. Don’t even need countermeasures. Play it like a support jet, not like Tom Cruise. Use something else if you want to dog fight.
4 second reload with an empty tank is pretty potent. The type 90 is a great example, it may not have much armour but most most shot will only take a crew member out allowing for quick shots back. Paired with the quick reload makes it a very good cqb brawler, which suits the war thunder “meta”. Its why a VERY fast leo with an autloader and decent round is a good combination. Does it deserve 11.0? I cant say but its not going to suddenly become usless at the br.
