What are the MS-20 upgrades?
I think I saw a dude that wanted to move 2A7 up to 12.3 for “decompression” reasons, but with several buffs attached along the way.
The ability to guide GBU-39 is part of the MS20 upgrade. The SAAF only had enoigh money to barely keep their gripen up irl and in 2018 sweden had an engineer go and try to convince them to buy MS20.
Anywho all Gripens are weird amalgamations that use MS17 features from the Gripen A and some functions like the GBU-39 guidance from the MS20.
I have a bug report that goes into more detail.
Gripens not being identified by their MS. // Issues Community Bug Reporting System
only aircraft show up for me

They have the fastest reload of any MBT. That is why they are going up. They do not need a sub-4 second reload.
Vehicle: Phantom FGR2 & FG1
Gamemode: All
Change: Improve Stock Loadout by adding 2x Aim-7E
Reason: The Phantom FGR2/FG1 already has to deal with a lot at 12.0, limiting it to 2x Aim-9Ds as a stock loadout is rather rediculous. The bare minimum that could be added is 2x Aim-7Es to augment the 2x Aim-9Ds.
This could be expanded further and just make the stock loadout 4x Aim-9Ds + 2x Aim-7E and remove that modification entirely, making the stock grind much smoother.
the higher it goes the easier it is to be a gremlin btw*
Vehicle: Tornado F3/ADV
Gamemode: All
Change: Improve Stock Loadout by adding 2x Skyflash TEMP (DFs)
Reason: The Tornado F3’s primary weapon is its radar and SARH missiles and unlike a lot of other aircraft, cant fall back onto dropping bombs to stock grind. This leaves the Tornado F3 extremely hard to stock grind until you can eventually unlock Skyflash TEMPs at tier 3.
Don’t forget the ADV :)
Also it would be nice if gaijin would give the F.3 late the AIM-9Ms stock.
Or maybe split the wing double pylons into 2 selections like the F-15.
Vehicle: Tornado F3 Late
Gamemode: All
Change: Replace the 2x Aim-9L stock loadout with 2x Aim-9M
Reason: Most, if not all other aircraft that can have IRCCM, get a reduce number of IRCCM as part of their stock loadut. Except for the Tornado F3 Late which has 2x Aim-9Ls as part of its stock loadout. Comprable airframes such as the F4F ICE and Mig-29SMT both have IRCCM stock.
Yeah, that is true, I forget Italy exists, and I was just writing that :D
This is not true. The only vehicle that has a reliable shot trap to 35mm SAPHE is the T-44. Many tanks have a cupola or gunsight weakspot.
The only other semi reliable shot trap is on the IS-4 but no other vehicles have a weakspot like this.
If you shoot it anywhere in the hull you will kill the driver and disable both its turret drive and mobility making it unable to shoot back.
atleast we don’t need to research bombs AND rockets to get a single missile mod anymore, but yeah, very much needs improving, the Sparrows are a phantoms bread and butter
problem is no flares and already fighting enough J35XS and Mig 21 MF then youd be fighting 10.7s like F8U F8E F5AG J7D with even better missiles and flight model its fine at 9.3
we need more decompression like 14.7 orr 15.0 for it to go up
No? 9.3 and 9.7 have IFVs that can counter it more easily.
the proposal is more a thing of principle than balancing.
Every other nation with a pure Manpad SPAA has one at 9.3 or lower.
US: Chapperal (not even Manpads),
USSR: Shilka-M4 (replacement for the Strela that was 9.3 for the longest time),
UK: doesn’t have Manpads,
JP: Type 93,
CH: PGZ04A,
IT: has the Sidam Mistral at 9.7, more comparable to the Gaepard 1A2, so checks out (the PGZ and the Shilka should be 9.7 in principle also, or the Gepard 1A2 and the Sidam 9.3?),
FR: SANTAL,
SWE: dont have Manpads, same as UK,
ISR: Machbet.
And don’t worry: You can outmanouver a Stinger pretty easily. And the Ozelot can do nothing about it. Not like it had a gun or something.
Vehicle: Su-34
Gamemode: All
Change: add R-77-1
reason: at 13.7 it is severely outclassed by other 13.7s like F15C, F-15JM, J-10A, J-11B and Gripen C in air to air combat
Right? And so are subsonics like the Hunter F6 at 9.7.
9.7 won’t be that big of a deal for the F100s
