Vehicle: Early CR2s(CR2/CR2F/CR2TES/CR2OES)
Gamemode and BR: 11.7 to 11.3 in GRB/GAB/GSB
Additional changes: first order ROF from 6.5s/5.0s to 5.2s/4.0s
Every western MBT outside of the leopard 2 now has a 5 second reload, mitigating the only advantage on challengers. Being inferior in protection, mobility and firepower, the tank has no business at top tier.

probably its coastal spawn
you’re very close to the action seconds after spawning and a 100mm shell or two will easily pop most things you’d run into whilst being able to absorb quite a lot of fire from the sort of threats you encounter in the coastal brawl

you mention Groza being the same BR, im fairly certain it has to spawn with the destroyers (dont have it myself), but i would expect it to be as much of a speedboat culling machine as the Marne if it got to spawn further forward as well

Ayanami class Destroyer JDS Ayanami DD-103

4.0 to 4.3

The catch is to rerate this warship as a destroyer so secondary & tertiary armament doesn’t fire on it from other destroyers in game.

This is quite a powerful destroyer even if incorrectly labelled a frigate, the vessel might still use WWII cannons, but with three of them it can be potent.

It would also be a nerf if they make 3"/50 Mk. 22 cannons not a belt feed cannon type, as that’s not what these cannons were & fired single shells, the nerf would be the whole empty magazines with two belts trick heh heh heh.

You also gotta mention that the L23 doesnt exist at all

Ehh… it DID, but it only saw service for like 6 months, due to how horribly unreliable it was.

It had HORRBILE angled performance, worse than the L15A5 round it replaced.

Mode: Naval AB/RB
BR Change: BR decompression; move the max BR bracket to 7.0 for coastal and 10.0 for bluewater.

Given the fact that Naval is overcompressed (can be clearly seen in coastal and end-of-the-line bluewater ships), and guided missile destroyers/cruisers are still a far cry, it wouldn’t be a big harm to stretch the maximum bracket to 10.0, knowing that end-of-the-line battleships/battlecruisers (7.0) are immune to light/heavy cruisers at 6.0, but still somewhat killable by 6.7+ battleships (except for Scharnhorst, of course, duh). With this BR decompression, destroyers could finally fight fellow destroyers without the fear of getting royally screwed by some god-knows cruisers.

With this logic, Gaijin can also extend coastal’s maximum BR to 7.0, in order to reduce the imbalance between small boats (anything under 500 tons and with PT boat DM) and “corvettes” (anything above 500 tons with corvette DM). Other than damage model difference, there’s also a significant technology gap (or more accurately, firepower gap) between 3.3 and 4.0+ boats. In a lot of cases, this phenomenon can be seen at a lower BR bracket; 2.7 and 3.7 respectively had a stark difference in technology and/or firepower (see Albatross vs SF40 Light, Pr.204 vs Pr.1204 (l), PG02 vs Type T-51b, and so on). Simply put, I don’t want to fight Pr.12412 in my Pr.183, and other players wouldn’t want to fight my Pr.12412 in their Pr.183.

I’m also sure that most naval coastal players had their own grudge against corvettes, especially when fighting them in their small PT boats. Some “sub-chasers” had this god-tier destroyer-like DM where only by hitting their engine or bridge would it do any damage. Thus, it would be optimal to separate the small coastal boats from the big coastal boats through BR decompression.

(finally, a coastal-only mode would be very much appreciated.)

The amount of times this argument is used no longer makes it a rarity. “Look, if we make the two A-10s unless, and the Su-25s, and then the two F-14s…then we are doing good. Because yeah we are only ruining one vehicle”. Sorry but not. Learn to do something othe than flying low and left; the tactic about 98% of playerbase does because its easier to cry “its too OP” than learn how to counter.

We can lower all of those vehicles back to their original BRs and the game will be fine. You might just have to use a bit more strategy but that’s a better precedent than ruining vehicles people spent the effort to unlock and enjoy.

Yeah but tell that to the King Tiger in 7.0 or in RB case 6.7 nonstop facing cold war stuff… and laser rangefinders. I don’t think at this point this should be a problem… M44 belongs to 7.0-8.0 no question… The ammo what it’s using was only available first in Korean war…

It’s more like the 2A7V shouldn’t be 12.0 than the 2A5 shouldn’t be 12.0.

Move the 2A7V to 12.3.

Keep the 2A5 / 2A6 where they are.

Someone bring up the US CAS first spawn 4x USSR player count thing, we got historical matchmaking here

Hello, I’m actually not sure if it’s destroyer or small craft spawns as there’s a “bug” which allows a destroyer spawn, the Marne is also limited to only SAP & AP which does make it harder to shot smaller vessels imho (sure I’m not the best shot but firing several salvos to sink some small vessels is laughable when hakf those shots with HE shells would sink them).

If the Marne was to receive a destroyer spawn it should stay a 3.0.

Also yes SKR Groza has a destroyer spawn, it used to have a small craft spawn originally for two years but was removed.

Aircraft: F-104S.ASA

Change: 12.0 → 11.7

Reasoning: With worse RWR compared to other aircraft of the same tier, it’s clear that the F-104 is not well-suited for staying in 12.0 battles. Other fighters with the same battle rating have better weapon loadouts than the 104, so I believe downgrading it by 0.3 would make it more viable to play.

All the Spike carriers ( other than the Freccia) are obscenely overtiered.

They should all go down by 0.3, some by 0.7.

I think its safe to say 200% of Brit mains, compared to how often you see them in game, appear on this sub when you mention (some are only slightly) inferior top tiers(L2A5, abrams, ariete, VT4, leclerc, MMK4)

In all seriousness all of the challengers needs both buff in ROF and drop in BR for at least a notch they are horrendous

Have to disagree, I’m guessing you play the T-34 so you get the negative association and experience, but when you actually play those vehicles you realise that the HEAT round is very inconsistent and it often takes several to destroy a vehicle. Also the volumetric model for the T-34 makes it so broken anyways that having a viable counter is necessary. Any time I decide to play some low/mid tier Russia I’m blown away by how EASY it is to stomp in the T-34s. Those German HEAT slingers have mediocre mobility, lacklustre armour, and a low velocity gun. The high pen but mediocre damage and fast reload are their only benefits.

It will still be a problem when F-14 will just wipe out 98% of the playerbase and easily outnumbers the enemy.

I don’t want a dogfight with 4 F-14 once in my Tonka after I evaded Fakour flew to me, and everyone else is dead.

If you truly think that ‘it isn’t a problem’ because ‘they can learn how to defeat fakour’
Then, in the same theory, ‘F-14 slammed by AIM-120’ isn’t a problem. :/
Because ‘you can learn how to defeat AIM-120’ then!

As I claimed earlier, Decompression, which makes IRIAF face a less lethal enemy, is better.

Of course, Game will be fine if we revert all those nerfs and decompression back
Because nobody will gonna play non-meta vehicles at all.
Look at R2Y2 or Vampires.

Yes. You might just have to use a bit more strategy against F-15E(which will send back to 13.7 in your theory, and will face F-14A IRIAF, which will send back to 12.7).
It is better than ruining vehicles that people have spent the effort on. right? :/

Bring something else that ‘will make F-14A IRIAF suits better for 13.0’ than just mindlessly buffing them down to 12.7.

I’d be fine with all 12.0 Challies going down to 11.7.

And getting a ROF buff on top of that, even then I am still pessimistic about them

Small Anti-Submarine Ship Project 204

3.7 to 4.0

Upon its release it was almost instantly known this would be incredibly powerful even if the main armament was astern of the superstructure, it somehow missed going up in BR post update & somehow the lesser effective at the time Restigouche class destroyer went up instead.

I already used it in a 4.0 lineup with the larger 4.0 Small Anti-Submarine Ship Project 1331M which proves it works at 4.0 & such a change would be a boon to 2.7 vessels that have got no chance against an AK-257 cannon or the RBU-6000 rocket assisted depth charges.
