It’s largely irrelevant. Anyone that was stubborn or good enough to get through the cursed APDS BRs with Britain is probably above average in skill for most of the playerbase.
Meanwhile the soviet TT is stupidly forgiving with APHE and are the most popular nation, meaning they get more players overall. There is no surprise that the soviet tank does a little worse
I see a similar deal with the M1A1 – with its armour values similar to the Type 90, but with a much better round and general versatility at the cost of mobility, reload, and specific versatility.
I think a 4s reload and superior mobility is generally more useful, but the better round and turret rotation speed with the M1A1 is nice against 11.7s and 12.0s.
What I don’t like is how easy these vehicles stomp 10.3s / 10.7s.
If those three all went up to 11.7 and move the HC/AIM/Clickbait to 12.0, and then move the 2A7/ 122Bs and Type 10 / TKX to 12.3, I think it would at least be a little bit more fair.
The fact that the M1 Abrams can’t pen the breech or cheeks of the Type 90, or the TTD being unable to UFP it is quite comical.
it was a long ass grind for it so that filters out casuals and employed people and leaves tryhards, veterans and no-lifers to run the vehicle. Without a lineup so have to use backups or they are having to work harder with the vehicle to stay competitive at the BR.
stats are not going to tell you everything, but how else are you going to balance anything?
you cant just ask the player base when half of them think that t55amd at 8.7 is apparently a good idea.
anyway i think the shir 2 is superior to the t64b and deserves to go up to 10.0, but so does the t64b.
I think thats more of an issue with compression and how the type 90 gets so many downtiers rather than the vehicle being too op. Same thing with how 13.0 and 12.7 air is basically unplayable because of 14.0 and 13.7.
well this is a seperate issue to begin with that is no different to top tier premium packs. Nor was it the most common way for people to acquire the tank. This is even more obvious by how its ended up being one of the cheapest British vehicles to buy
In my opinion instead of compressing the type 90 to decompress 10.7, move up top tier to smth like 12.7 or 13.0 instead of 12.0 and start with the 10.7s going to 11.0 and go from there.
