Planned Battle Rating changes for April 2025

Move the T-62 to 8.3

  • Lacks a LRF or even a ORF (Common feature at 8.7)
  • Poor optics
  • Poor gun traverse and elevation
  • Average speed and poor reverse
  • Poor protection (AMD and AM-1 are better protected at the same BR)
  • Long reload (even aced)
Gaijin please save this power-crept old timer

It’s largely irrelevant. Anyone that was stubborn or good enough to get through the cursed APDS BRs with Britain is probably above average in skill for most of the playerbase.

Meanwhile the soviet TT is stupidly forgiving with APHE and are the most popular nation, meaning they get more players overall. There is no surprise that the soviet tank does a little worse

good strawman

I see a similar deal with the M1A1 – with its armour values similar to the Type 90, but with a much better round and general versatility at the cost of mobility, reload, and specific versatility.
I think a 4s reload and superior mobility is generally more useful, but the better round and turret rotation speed with the M1A1 is nice against 11.7s and 12.0s.

What I don’t like is how easy these vehicles stomp 10.3s / 10.7s.

If those three all went up to 11.7 and move the HC/AIM/Clickbait to 12.0, and then move the 2A7/ 122Bs and Type 10 / TKX to 12.3, I think it would at least be a little bit more fair.

The fact that the M1 Abrams can’t pen the breech or cheeks of the Type 90, or the TTD being unable to UFP it is quite comical.

we need to consider who got the vehicle.

it was a long ass grind for it so that filters out casuals and employed people and leaves tryhards, veterans and no-lifers to run the vehicle. Without a lineup so have to use backups or they are having to work harder with the vehicle to stay competitive at the BR.

Error, to get FV4030/3 you don’t need to grind all over Britain, absolutely any player could get this tank

i wager most people using it regularly have a lineup

stats are not going to tell you everything, but how else are you going to balance anything?
you cant just ask the player base when half of them think that t55amd at 8.7 is apparently a good idea.

anyway i think the shir 2 is superior to the t64b and deserves to go up to 10.0, but so does the t64b.

also a good idea, yes

I think thats more of an issue with compression and how the type 90 gets so many downtiers rather than the vehicle being too op. Same thing with how 13.0 and 12.7 air is basically unplayable because of 14.0 and 13.7.

You technically didnt need to use the brit tree to get the shir 2 but the only people that gave a damn were brit players for the most part

there is 0 grind to buy an event vehicle from the marketplace. you only need a wallet.

I mean I guess, though I don’t really have an issue with T-Series tanks like the T-80s and T-90s.

See how I proposed a small decompression on Top tier vehicles that need to be moved up?

well this is a seperate issue to begin with that is no different to top tier premium packs. Nor was it the most common way for people to acquire the tank. This is even more obvious by how its ended up being one of the cheapest British vehicles to buy

wrong forum mate go here

what a steal. people are missing out big time.

its british and has no lineup. its worthless to 90% of players

Chief mk3 should get the same treatment imo

In my opinion instead of compressing the type 90 to decompress 10.7, move up top tier to smth like 12.7 or 13.0 instead of 12.0 and start with the 10.7s going to 11.0 and go from there.

But it wouldn’t be compression if all under BR’d vehicles get moved up.

The Type 10 / Leo 2A7V will still be a 0.7 BR difference with the Type 90 / TKX ( P)
