See i thought id seen that a while ago floating about.
essentially another piece of british tech thats incorreclty modelled.
Tried the fireflash recently BTW? the ones on the swift F7 theyre also completely broken.
On a slightly differnet topic, the Shir 2, wasnt it supposed to get upgraded optics, same as on CR1 mk1/mk2 and chieftain mk11?
cause in game it has the same as the mk10 chieftain I believe.
Many tanks at 6.7 have very low penetration, such as the T-44, M26, and AMX-13. They can only deal with heavy targets by flanking or disabling the gun barrel. In contrast, the Tiger II, Ferdinand, and Jagdtiger have extremely powerful firepower, making it very easy for them to destroy other 6.7 tanks, even heavy ones.
Ferdinand can be penned in the aformentiomed weakspot by every single one of the tanks you mentioned.
Tiger 2h can be penetrated into the commander’s hatch by every single one of them as well, besides amx-13 which can just simply blast through the turret.
Only Jagdtiger could be problematic, but then again, it’s the biggest and slowest of them all.
You shouldn’t expect to just simply blast through the heaviest mass produced tank in history with a medium tank frontally…
That’s actually quite reasonable. These three German tanks have a much higher margin for error compared to others. Most other tanks require significantly more skill to destroy them. That’s why I believe the Tiger II (H) and Jagdtiger should be moved up to 7.0. As for the Ferdinand, its placement at 6.7 is relatively balanced.
Feedback – M48A2 G A2 (8.3) vs Magach 5 (8.0): Makes no sense
Both tanks are basically identical:
Same gun (105mm L7/M68), same ammo (DM23), no stabilizer, same armor layout.
The Magach 5 has ERA Blazer, giving it ~250–300mm extra protection vs HEAT. Combined with its sloped 110mm plate, it can stop most HEAT-FS at this BR.
The M48A2 G A2 has no ERA, meaning it’s way more vulnerable.
Yes, the M48A2 G A2 is slightly lighter (47.8t vs 49.9t) and has a bit more engine power (825hp vs 750hp), but the difference is minimal and doesn’t justify a +0.3 BR.
Conclusion: The Magach 5 is flat-out better, yet sits at a lower BR. This seems like an oversight and should be re-evaluated.
Amx-13 at 7.0?? Seriously? That thing has worse pen than the m41 and yet the bulldog gets to be at 6.3?
a tank with no armor and 202mm of pen at point blank does not deserve to be 7.0
AND THE AMX M4?? that thing is just a king tiger with no armor & he filler, only good things about it is mobility and penetration
Both those vehicles were fine at 6.7
now my 6.7 lineup will be able to meet m60s, magachs, t54’s, atgms, helicopters, strv103’s, rocket slinging vehicles and mid-cold war era mbt’s.
Also, if the M551 and the XM800T are being swapped, does that mean if I get the XM800T before they switch I could avoid having to get the M551 entirely, as I could just continue from the Xm800 after they swap?
It would be completely unfair to move the AMX-13 and AMX M4 to 7.0 unless the overperforming German 6.7 lineup is moved up first. Balance should come before arbitrary BR changes.
if you can properly use your fast reload, it is more useful than merely 30-40mm more penentration. This is why french BRs keep going up.same reason as the japenese MBTs.
Why hasn’t the Fujin Training Unit received a BR increase? With a 4-second reload, it has overwhelming firepower against lower-tier opponents. Its rate of fire gives it a level of suppressive capability that’s simply too strong for its current battle rating.
Yes it is mobility is important in this br range and considering the magch 5 is slow and heavy it cant move up to face kpz 70 and t72
U can ask for the m48a2ga2 to go down it makes more sanse
I would say that the way Gaijin has already “nerfed” this plane was precisely in the sense that it is an extremely complicated plane to play for average players, you rarely find a good BI in your matches.
