I think the notion of moving the AMX-40 up to 10.0 is a bad one. You are punishing skilled players for doing well in a vehicle that has fit perfectly at 9.7 for some time now. France has no 10.0 lineup to speak of (other than the premium tiger heli), which means you’re giving players who like the AMX-40 two annoying options: either uptier your AMX-40 to 12.0 and have it be relegated to a 7th choice backup in a lineup already filled with plenty of mbts, or uptier your 9.3/9.7 lineup to 10.0 to give some depth behind the AMX-40.
This is ill conceived however you look at it! Either gaijin thinks that people will seriously play with JUST the AMX-40 in their lineup with nothing else (LOL), or they think its fair to artificially uptier the entire 9.3/9.7 br range to 10.0 for the sake of… what???
I am of the opinion that this is just another attempt by gaijin to punish skilled French players for doing well in a vehicle that had no real issues being at 9.7. The worst part is, they’re too timid to do what I’ve suggested earlier (uptiering the 9.3/9.7 vehicles) because they KNOW its not fair. I guess this is their way of doing so in effect without actually doing so. Shameful. Or maybe this is an attempt to get more players to buy the Tiger HAP, seeing as there really wasn’t any reason to buy it before unless you wanted to artificially uptier your 9.3/9.7 lineup for the sake of one heli. Whichever way I look at this, however I try to justify this br change in my head, I come up short. This is plain and simple a bad idea.
Not to mention the amx-13 and the amx-m4 being moved up to 7.0… destroying what was a very good br for France in 6.7. Come on, man. Really? I guess on the bright side it means the french M46 gets something of a lineup, which I won’t complain about, but still… just feels lazy to ruin one lineup for the sake of building another. Maybe add more French vehicles at that br if you think its that big of an issue.
I think all the buccs could do with airspawns tbh, biggest grip I have personally with the 2 is the Flares OR missiles OR more bombs.
I would say it should move down only in ARB if it does, with the bomb sight I think it’s in a good position GRB wise, (if it looses the bombsight however it would probably need to go down, the plane is too big to use the CCIP lmao, and CCRP just doesn’t work very well in WT)
As it turned out, this adjustment was a complete mistake, they could have chosen to stretch the room as a whole, but instead they chose to stretch a single vehicle to achieve the purpose of data weakening😅
indeed. gaijin is stuck until they raise the br gap in ground again. they gotta move so many vehicles up, its gonna reach 12.0 vehicles in a chain reaction very quickly.
I find it very unreliable personally, mostly with the release controls being uh inconstant.
Don’t get me wrong I’ve had some luck. But in GRB I’d rather just use the CCIP and/or bombsight, especially for SEAD
Has anyone mentioned that the Naval BR system has been crashed? we need another BR extend for Naval toptier, unless someone believes that BB and CL could be same BR
Fair enough. Though I really want a 10.0 tornado for GRB so I can loft bombs or make ultra low passes using CCRP. Half the reason why I wanted GMR modeled was for exactly that kind of CCRP control
I keep trying to make passes like that in my 9.7 Harriers, always end up bomb tossing or flinging rockets from 5km or something lmao. The Gepard and Friends are nasty up close lmao, though I commonly find people trying to blast me from outside their effective range, the tracer fire gives me a target at least.
Really need Phimat on the GR3, then you can just start dumping mass loads of Chaff to help throw the Radar locks on those. Might help a little, but betwene the Harriers IR sig issues and that BR for CAS in general, yeah, GR3 sounds rough.
