Planned Battle Rating changes for April 2025

Obj 435 - 8.7 > 8.7 (No change)

Why on earth is a tank with pure RHA, a coincidence rangefinder and 3BM3 going to the same BR as the T-62M-1 (composite addons, 3BM28, LRF)!?

It makes zero sense.

Same thing with the T-55M too, it gets an amazing dart but compared to say, the ZTZ88, no hull composite, no HE-VT and it’s significantly slower.

Gaijin you need to decompress!!

Vehicle: Ayit
Proposed BR: 9.3>9.7
Reasoning: to low of a BR for its weapon kit. 18g missiles on a plane that has flares at 9.3 is too overpowered also considering it gets 4 of them and they have good range. The AV8A gets less missiles and a little bit better flight performance is 9.7 which doesn’t make much sense.

Mode: Realistic

Vehicle: Merkava Mk.2D

BR Change: 9.7 > 9.7 (No change)

Reasoning:
It has the same performance as the all other Merkavas Mk.2

We need to go up to 15.0 minimum :)

Daily reminder the CLOVIS still sits at 8.0 and is blatantly P2W/OP.

Not surprised in the slightest to see it is completely absent from these changes…

Why would they dare touch a brokenly OP vehicle that earns them money???

t62m1 is much stronger than t55am1 and should go up to 9.3, but then 9.3 t72a/m1 & t64a are much stronger than it and those should go up too, but then theres the 9.7 t64b which is again significantly stronger than those two and it should go up too.

*t64b is basically a turms-t with no thermals: identical firepower, same era, very similar mobility and the armor under the era is not that different.
i dont get why those 2 are 2 br steps apart

they dont want to raise turm III’s br so they cant put the clovis at the same br.

Why is the T-55AMD-1 moving up in BR? Its already got a mediocre shell and this doesn’t do it any favours?

I do support the moving of the T-62 to be foldered with the T-55A.

harriers flight performance is not superior to the ayit.
id rather fly the ayit any day of the week.
the missiles are much worse tho, shafir 2 range is abysmal and aim-9D has a caged seeker. 9Gs are better, but ayit should still go up to 9.7

I think the notion of moving the AMX-40 up to 10.0 is a bad one. You are punishing skilled players for doing well in a vehicle that has fit perfectly at 9.7 for some time now. France has no 10.0 lineup to speak of (other than the premium tiger heli), which means you’re giving players who like the AMX-40 two annoying options: either uptier your AMX-40 to 12.0 and have it be relegated to a 7th choice backup in a lineup already filled with plenty of mbts, or uptier your 9.3/9.7 lineup to 10.0 to give some depth behind the AMX-40.

This is ill conceived however you look at it! Either gaijin thinks that people will seriously play with JUST the AMX-40 in their lineup with nothing else (LOL), or they think its fair to artificially uptier the entire 9.3/9.7 br range to 10.0 for the sake of… what???

I am of the opinion that this is just another attempt by gaijin to punish skilled French players for doing well in a vehicle that had no real issues being at 9.7. The worst part is, they’re too timid to do what I’ve suggested earlier (uptiering the 9.3/9.7 vehicles) because they KNOW its not fair. I guess this is their way of doing so in effect without actually doing so. Shameful. Or maybe this is an attempt to get more players to buy the Tiger HAP, seeing as there really wasn’t any reason to buy it before unless you wanted to artificially uptier your 9.3/9.7 lineup for the sake of one heli. Whichever way I look at this, however I try to justify this br change in my head, I come up short. This is plain and simple a bad idea.

Not to mention the amx-13 and the amx-m4 being moved up to 7.0… destroying what was a very good br for France in 6.7. Come on, man. Really? I guess on the bright side it means the french M46 gets something of a lineup, which I won’t complain about, but still… just feels lazy to ruin one lineup for the sake of building another. Maybe add more French vehicles at that br if you think its that big of an issue.

dont forget that the plz-05 exist too

Flown the Harriers since the last major?

They got quite a buff.

Still underperforming loads though, but it was a start

I think all the buccs could do with airspawns tbh, biggest grip I have personally with the 2 is the Flares OR missiles OR more bombs.
I would say it should move down only in ARB if it does, with the bomb sight I think it’s in a good position GRB wise, (if it looses the bombsight however it would probably need to go down, the plane is too big to use the CCIP lmao, and CCRP just doesn’t work very well in WT)

i actually havent flown them after the update. i thought only the high tier harriers got the buffs. i gotta go fly them again soon.

As it turned out, this adjustment was a complete mistake, they could have chosen to stretch the room as a whole, but instead they chose to stretch a single vehicle to achieve the purpose of data weakening😅

indeed. gaijin is stuck until they raise the br gap in ground again. they gotta move so many vehicles up, its gonna reach 12.0 vehicles in a chain reaction very quickly.

You should, especially in sim/full controls they pull alot. Don’t expect to flare anything though lmao

Yeah, that is the really big issue with the Buc S2 and S2B. They can take soemthing, but wont necessarily always take it.

Like I rarely run 9Ls but I could so it needs to be 10.3/10.7

But this is why Napalm would be great for it. it wont necessarily make sacrificing those 2 hardpoints quite as hard felt.

Buc S1 definetly needs airspawn, but im on the fence about the Buc S2 and 2B.

I’ve personally not had any issues with CCRP, especially with the new map controls.

Finally someone think of this thing.

I thought asa has been into garbage dump of the times that nobody cares, even gaijin has fully abandoned it.
