Give the original Abrams the M833 round, the M774 pen and damage its pretty subpar to its peers at 10.7. Yes, the tank did use it. Besides there isn’t much difference in game between M774 and M833.
Nah, firstly the game shouldn’t jump that much rn, but also you’re forgetting a lot of airframes, like all of japan, which makes sense since this is a really big change and not something that would even be considered from a suggestion in a seasonal BR change.
Are there any plans to look at the Ground BR ratings of the Japanese Air tree? The only reason I can think that the F-4EJ Kai is still 11.3 is because there is a plan to give it Mavericks, or that with the release of the F-2, it will be receiving ASM-2 which has a secondary anti-ground function, I believe. The fact that its supersonic, has a PD radar, and AIM-9L isn’t much of an upgrade in GRB over the 12.0 Phantoms that get to be 10.7. I could see an argument maybe if it also got AAM-3, 3 but the fact that F-5s with AGMs get to be 11.0 is a bit silly lol
I also feel that since the F-1 losts its computers does it really need to be at 10.0 in ground battles? Alpha Jets have computers, countermeasures, and some have better missiles and they’re 9.7.
Reason:
Currently, the Tornado IDS is overtiered, with its anemic flight model, weak weaponry and air-to-air missiles, it faces threats which has no counter to and full uptiers are brutal. Its play style is no different from its premium counterpart, the WTD61, which sits at 11.3. Alternatively, the Tornado IDS could also receive AIM-L/i which historically uses and stay at 11.7.
The F-1 would also potentially get the same GCS-1 Guided bomb as the EJ Kai and F-2, if we’re talking about potentials from introduction of stuff next patch if anything it would move up.
Reasoning: When it was first added the M109G had lower velocity shell than the M109A1 and justified being a lower BR. Now they both fire shells at the same velocity and are also identical in all stats aside from the M109G being 400kg heavier which is not enough to warrant a different BR.
This is not true, the PzH 2000 received free NVDs without modification despite being 7.7 and was added well after the Fox. The 2S19 also received them when it was added last patch at 7.0. The same thing can be done for any vehicle below 10.0.
In my opinion, the AMX-40 shouldn’t be moved up. It’s basically a worse version of the Leo 2K/2AV in almost every way, and now it’s at the same BR. It also completely ruins the lineup it was a part of,
M109G has 70 degrees of gun elevation, whereas the M109A1 has 75 degrees of gun elevation.
Aside from dealing with aircraft, they are pretty much the same, so I can agree with you.
I never use AHEAD, lol the longer barrels means it has the most penetration of any of the 35mm anti air cannons, meaning running around spanking tanks with api ammunition is great. Thermals and irst are good for AA too i suppose.
No, 11.0 sorry. 10.7 would be too OP as in a downtier no 9.7 is going to be able to properly defend against 6 Aim 9Ps, a Vulcan, and one of the fastest top speeds in game, let alone getting sniped by an Aim-7E. I love the F-104S and F-104S TAF but until we get some decompression 11.0 is as low as I would move them, they’d be too powerful in downtiers. Already they can pull off 2-3 kill games in downtiers, so moving them to consistently face chaffless and flare less jets is not fair to anyone else. Really the problem is a minor overtier paired with a major compression and huge premium black hole at around 12.0 where you face endless Mig-23 and Phantom II spam, let alone facing F-16s and F-18s and dealing with Magic 2 slinging Mirages.
I wonder how long they will keep ignoring this request. Why any of the 3 are still at 11.7 is beyond me. Only the A200C has potential for being 11.7 worthy, but its so unfinished that cant be determiend yet
the problem is overpressure (anything with low armor is os, and good armor is rendered useless) and the fact the heat makes the vehicles better than dedicated tank destroyers.
The early Flankers have a subpar RWR and radar, yet carry a large number of decent missiles (R-73 and R-27ER, mainly). With the rising prevalence of ARH missiles at 13.0, I think this should be bumped down to help counter AMRAAM’s and Derby’s. Remember, R-27ER’s are SARH missiles. You can only engage one target at a time, and need to stay more or less pointed at the target. This means the Su-27 is incredibly vulnerable to ARH missiles, and it is currently expected to fight them 100% of the time. 13.0 would give it a little breathing room.
